Bringing It All Back Home
Bob DylanIn the beginning I thought it sounded like many other albums I've heard, but perhaps he was teh first to do it, I don't know. But it really grew on me. Cohesive and yet enough variety to keep it interesting.

Rikki Don't Lose That Number is giving Sims 2 build mode in the best way. Nostalgic and I love it instantly. LOVED it. 4 or 5 stars, probably 5.
Her vocals took some getting used to for me. Very musically talented woman. She articulates well which is a plus. 4 stars
There's nothing I can point out thats bad, but I'm just not jelling with it. 2-3 stars, won't listen to it again.
Phenomenal sound. Heavily addicting. 5 stars. But what are these lyrics?? Still 5 stars.
Liking the blend of sounds and textures here, although it sounds as if their personal sound is still in development. Something here's not clicking for me. But I checked out their latest album and I am loving it very much.
Surprisingly long songs. Surprisingly I did enjoy them. Not the style I listen to regularly, but they developed a lovely sound for this album. 3 stars, would recommend it to people who are into this genre.
Can never go wrong with this music. Great voice, great vibes. I don't know how to rate it though. 4 stars? 3? Somewhere in that range for now. -> 3 stars; Can't go wrong with this album, but there is little that sets it apart.
Gorgeous sound, and what a voice. They did all blend together a little bit, and didn't reach my heart like some of this type of music does (Nina Simone I'm looking at you). But wonderful nonetheless, and an incredible live performance. 3.5/5
This was kinda vibes. I understand the reviews though. This album would be nice to play in the evening before going to bed. I do wonder if I still remember any of it tomorrow. Idk, now that I’m thinking about it… If I wanted this vibe I would put on Bob Dylan. But still it’s not so bad. 3 stars.
I rated this 4 stars a while ago but I cannot remember a single thing about this album so I'm changing it to a 3 star. Probably wasn't bad tho bc if it was I'd remember it for being so.
What a woman, what a voice. Powerful stuff. Unfortunately a little bit repetitive in the second half, but has bangers that hit me in the heart. 4 stars.
This album's a classic. Not every single song is for me, but these guys breathe so much musicality that I have to at least give it 4 stars.
Quite a journey. There are songs that I loved, and also songs that had me thinking "what on earth am I listening to?" Comes down to a 3 star rating overall. It was very up and down, but I do think I will revisit this one.
Great band. I just don't personally like their sound.
Solid sound, Great singer. It just wasn't anything out of the ordinary for me.
LOVED this one. His voice and the music breathe as one. He also articulates way more in this one compared to the previous one of his I listened to, which was Bringing It All Back Home. 5/5
What a lovely surprise to hear her more laid-back songs for the first time. Lovely sound, interesting lyrics, lovely dreamy poppy sound. I think I'll come back to this one. I do however feel like the production is carrying this just a smidge more than she and her voice are. 4/5.
So much personality! I loved it. Fantastic album, very musical. It stuck with me for a while after listening to it.
This album is a parody of itself.
This is an incredible album. I wish I wouldn't have looked at the lyrics because they are a proper downer, one like I haven't experienced in a while. If only for the music this is a 5 stars though.
Wonderfully musical album. Very colourful and melodic. We need more of this music today. 4 stars because I loved about 3/4th of the songs, and the others, while good, weren’t something I’d relisten to. But would recommend the album as a whole to everyone!
Whimsical 80’s sound, but too chaotic for me. Loved the opening song. The second song is bad. Do not make a bad song about being a bad band. By song 3 this felt more like a compilation than it did an album.
Listen... I know it's not that outstanding or whatever, but I just absolutely love 80's music with this vibe.
It’s monotone and too long. I see why people like it but it’s not for me at all. 1 star because I have to, plus 1 extra star for ‘Jus’ a Rascal’.
This was PHENOMENAL. So funky, so playful, and so so good. How could I frown listening to this?
Phenomenal instrumentals that were wasted on whatever those horrible, uncomfortably breathy, did I say horrible, voice tracks are…
If I wanted to make a point about how anyone will listen to anything as long as I named it art, this is what I’d make.
I love the spirit of this album, even while I can’t understand a word. The majority of songs in the first 1/3rd-ish didn’t hit for me, but many of the songs later in the album were wonderful.
I went into my first Mötorhead album ready to dislike it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how fun their sound is! The album is cohesive, though the songs did blend together a bit. I’m not gonna come back to it, but I’m glad I listened to it and know what they’re about now.
Too aggressive, too repetitive, not enough content, not that interesting, quite overstimulating.
As much as I was entirely overstimulated after listening to this album, I have to admit it’s a hell of a vibe. The individual songs were 50/50 for me.
It’s a little busier and chaotic than I’d like, but other than that I enjoy the darker 80’s vibe and their usage of synths. The songs are of mixed quality: there’s a few masterpieces, and some cacophonies. I don’t really love the vocals: they are too often pitchy, and a little too sharp/pointy in sound for me. His sound is recognisable and unique though, I'll give 'em that. Also, I can’t tell if they are taking it seriously or not. I kinda hope they’re not.
As A Gen Z’er, I approach this album differently than someone who had heard this when it came out. The musicality in this album is undeniable, and from what I’ve gathered it was very influential at the time for combining lots of new styles and techniques et cetera. But the year is 2025, and many bands since have been influenced by this sound. Hence why it’s hard for me to be wowed by this album as it is. It’s not bad by any means, but it doesn’t stand out in the current landscape of music. I would not replay this, but I respect this album and The Beatles for what they’ve done for the music industry.
This is just perfectly fun. Who the hell am I to have notes on this?
