Hard to deny how culturally significant the album is (especially now more than ever) but I think Green Day bit off more than they can chew here. All the singles are great, but it quickly drowns in its own ambition to tell some kind of thematic story. If this was a 6-7 track EP it might be something close to a perfect record.

Pleasant little pop album with some great harmonies. Not much to write home about though.

Classic album. The theatrical production is second to none.
