When Elbow became a musical phenomenon. Remember seeing the video for Grounds for Divorce and was blown away it became the ringtones ne on my phone when that was still a thing . One Day Like This 20 years later is one of the finest anthems written

Goes downhill after Jesus Walks

Bland like magnolia paint

The classics imagine and jealous guy are here but I the main a fairly lacklustre album

Apart from the singles is much if a muchness , just indie pop

Got a decent seventies vibe but nothing to keep your attention

Proper old school reggae Sadly every track sounds the same Gave up half way through

Great funk But once the main track out the way gets a bit messy

I can't believe have never listened to the full album before . The singles are classics and well known but it's all killer absolutely loved it

Background music Not offensive but definitely nothing memorable

Wonderful and very apt it came up on June 12th 2025 RIP Brian Wilson This album 28 minutes of magnificence

Everything that can ever be written in praise of this album has already been done . I have a feeling my journey through 1001 albums is all downhill from here

I really can't stand his voice so this one's a non starter
