I feel like I’m supposed to like this album or at least that’s what they led me to believe but this was a rough listen. I don’t understand the pioneer of punk rock label that’s associated with her name or this album. Her voice is not for me.

Sounds like an artifact found in a dusty attic, wrapped in faded lace and old Polaroids, humming with the static of memory. It’s spectral, melancholic, and oddly comforting, like a half-remembered childhood dream.

Meh .. repetitive looped samples

This album makes me feel like I’m stuck at a church potluck where no one brought seasoning, joy, or emotional range. Every track is like being gently waterboarded with skim milk. Muzak for the emotionally repressed

MF Doom/Madvilliany vibes. Appreciate the art but I won’t be seeking out more

I remember liking Simon and Garfunkel but this was pretty painful.
