MTV Unplugged In New York
NirvanaBest live album of all time.
Best live album of all time.
Heaps of Sheep is fine Maryan is fine Not a huge fan of his voice, donโt like how it meshes with the instrumentals
Them Bones is solid Down in a hole is closeish to black hole sun level, just donโt like the lyrics Rooster is good Angry Chair is okay Everything between Rooster and Angry Chair is meh/didnt listen
Supermassive black hole. Yep. Soldierโs Poem is a nice breakup in the album. Assassin is alright Hoodooโs different Back half of Knights of Cydonia goes fairly hard Glorious isnโt bad Not the biggest fan of the lead singers voice, but album tries out some cool different stuff
European Son is my favorite I guess, teeth vibes at the end which was fun. Just not my kind of vocals at all. Kinda sad Iโm giving this the same rating as Shleep โน๏ธ
Solid album. Only a fool would say that is top tier. Dirty work is great too. Overall good vibes.
Like my first exposure to old school rap I guess. Impressed. Peter Piper and Walk This Way are nice. Solid listen
Not much wrong with it other than I will never ever listen to it again. Favorite track is probably purple rain.
School is a trip, second track is fairly solid too. A lot of their songs end really well. Those two minutes of Rudy starting around the halfway point hit. Way too much piano, thatโs just a me thing tho. The slower, less intense parts arenโt interesting, but the highs on the album are great and unique. Like they crescendo really well. Works well as an album.
Best songs are Eliโs Cominโ, Timer, and The confession. Old pop haha, mixes up the beat a bunch, pretty fun. Nothing Iโd really listen to again
Almost nothing that makes me think oh that was interesting or I liked that. Like a very uninteresting m83. Sad thing is that I could totally see myself listening through this album fishing for new music to listen to. Iโm deeply offended.
Best live album of all time.
Iโd like to know is good, like how it ends. Sheโs so loose is fine, sofa is great minus the very beginning which is annoying. Time to go is a solid way to wrap up the album. The overall sound of the album is alright, and some of the tracks are well put together
Immense, tremendous respect and such. Donโt need to go out of my way to listen to it again, rather listen to it than purple rain I guess. Best tracks are A Hard Dayโs Night and Any Time at All. Low three star
Who is it has a nice sound minus vocals. No compassion has a cool break around the 3.30 mark. Do not vibe with the vocals at all, which sucks because some of the instrumentation isnโt half bad.
Sunday Shining is the only song that is both tolerable and has something remotely interesting going on. Almost every other song canโt check off either of those boxes.
Fun but eh
Jazz yay
Don't Cry and Revival are good. The very ending of the album is nice. The whole thing has an overall nice sound to it.
The First Taste is fine. Last song isn't terrible either. Just isn't my kind of album, mostly due to vocals.
Smokey River, Finches, Veronica, Do You Hear Me, Alice's Wonderland, Casbah, Angie. All great songs. Just great guitar, I can't complain.
This album gets a 3 solely because of YYZ, if an album can have that kind of song then it's got something at least. The rest of the album is a 2, don't like the singer and not in love with the synths.
Lullaby is fine, Homesick has it's moments, Untitled is okay. Same problem with having some dated vocals and synthy stuff but enough of it is passable for a three
Praying for Time, Freedom '90, and Waiting for That Day are the best, but they're all just fine. Nothing on the album that really pushes it over the edge for me, and the sound in general isn't my style.
Yeah itโs a 4. War Pigs has some great moments, Planet Caravan and Iron Man are worthy ballads, and itโs just got a nice sound.
Not a 2. Not a 4. Nothing absolutely stellar but it sounds nice enough. Vocals aren't my thing, doesn't sound like an album from the 2010s
Smoke on the Water is the reason why the album is the album, and it's not even the best track. Highway Star is just that good. I could listen to this album again, probably will.
laughingstock is good. album feels alright, nothing incredibly special by my standards.
eh
