MTV Unplugged In New York
NirvanaBest live album of all time.
Heaps of Sheep is fine Maryan is fine Not a huge fan of his voice, don’t like how it meshes with the instrumentals
Them Bones is solid Down in a hole is closeish to black hole sun level, just don’t like the lyrics Rooster is good Angry Chair is okay Everything between Rooster and Angry Chair is meh/didnt listen
Supermassive black hole. Yep. Soldier’s Poem is a nice breakup in the album. Assassin is alright Hoodoo’s different Back half of Knights of Cydonia goes fairly hard Glorious isn’t bad Not the biggest fan of the lead singers voice, but album tries out some cool different stuff
European Son is my favorite I guess, teeth vibes at the end which was fun. Just not my kind of vocals at all. Kinda sad I’m giving this the same rating as Shleep ☹️
Solid album. Only a fool would say that is top tier. Dirty work is great too. Overall good vibes.
Like my first exposure to old school rap I guess. Impressed. Peter Piper and Walk This Way are nice. Solid listen
Not much wrong with it other than I will never ever listen to it again. Favorite track is probably purple rain.
School is a trip, second track is fairly solid too. A lot of their songs end really well. Those two minutes of Rudy starting around the halfway point hit. Way too much piano, that’s just a me thing tho. The slower, less intense parts aren’t interesting, but the highs on the album are great and unique. Like they crescendo really well. Works well as an album.
Best songs are Eli’s Comin’, Timer, and The confession. Old pop haha, mixes up the beat a bunch, pretty fun. Nothing I’d really listen to again
Almost nothing that makes me think oh that was interesting or I liked that. Like a very uninteresting m83. Sad thing is that I could totally see myself listening through this album fishing for new music to listen to. I’m deeply offended.
Best live album of all time.
I’d like to know is good, like how it ends. She’s so loose is fine, sofa is great minus the very beginning which is annoying. Time to go is a solid way to wrap up the album. The overall sound of the album is alright, and some of the tracks are well put together
Immense, tremendous respect and such. Don’t need to go out of my way to listen to it again, rather listen to it than purple rain I guess. Best tracks are A Hard Day’s Night and Any Time at All. Low three star
Who is it has a nice sound minus vocals. No compassion has a cool break around the 3.30 mark. Do not vibe with the vocals at all, which sucks because some of the instrumentation isn’t half bad.
Sunday Shining is the only song that is both tolerable and has something remotely interesting going on. Almost every other song can’t check off either of those boxes.
Fun but eh
Jazz yay
