That sure is a sadboi in Portland
This one feels like what I imagine "jazz" to sound like. Not sure how I feel about it.
Felt unctuous. Dark maybe? Like a really good ramen broth.
Ma you're just jealous it's the beastie boys. Be more quinticential. But the stuff at the end of this album is fire.
It's crunchy, it's driving, it's riffed up, it's ZZ Top!
Great sound. Opening riff to Money for Nothing is bonkers
Unplugging really shows Kurt's voice in an incredible light. I was not really feeling Nirvana today but that was more of a mismatch by me than anything. Will have to come back to it
It's not for me
Amazing. Puts the king in BB King. Crunchy blues
This was on the one hand, quite compelling. On the other, I don't think it's something I will seek out again. Hard to say
I was not super into this one
Fantastic. Funky grooves.
I've never thought of myself as a "jazz guy" but I really enjoyed this album. Maybe it's the samba? In any case, would listen again.
It's pretty disco groovy. I liked it.
Kinda surprised how jazzy this turned out to be
The original of metal on full display it seems
Funky and smooth
Great album! Gfunk at its finest
That sure is a sadboi in Portland
Loved it! Just classic boom bap right here
Pretty punky. Never listened to the Pixies before and I'm glad I got the chance too
This is my favorite Beatles album
Glad I got to give Joy Division a go finally. I think I need another listen to really get a good feel
Also never listened to the Smiths before. Gotta say, for a dark/brooding sound, I liked it!
A classic case of not judging a book by its cover. Don't get the album art but the sound is nice
Not sure how I feel about Morrissey. Kinda weird. Kinda whiny. Kinda nice. I just don't know
I really liked this! Got a lot of sounds I didn't expect
I didn't really like this, but I think I wanted it to be something else. Worth a revisit
What an album! How did this get lambasted by critics??? Sort of sat in the country/blues space, which I did not expect.
Gotta remember to give this one another try. I listened to about half and liked it, but ran out of time
Really loved this one!
What a great album! I've been really loving Steely Dan lately. It's funky and chill. Just great background stuff and at the same time actually worth sitting down to listen to!
Not super interesting? But maybe I missed the point. Or maybe I'm just not helped by the hits from this album playing at the local Border's Books and Music back in the day.
Not my jam, that's for sure
This one feels like what I imagine "jazz" to sound like. Not sure how I feel about it.
The Wu-Tang album.
Really enjoyed this one! Deep, somber, heavy sounds. Beautiful.
This one was a little tough to follow for me. At times it skewed folk, which I liked. But other times I just got lost
