Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jun 27 2025

Super tight, satisfying and very clear mastering. Prog elements, but also very structured and melodic. Very depressing lyrics and tone. Keyboard solos are my favourite part, sax parts. Drums are so clear and tie it all together. Only downside is that it could've been a little more experimental; a little more risky.

More like 3.5. some amazing bits, but more songs that I wouldn't see myself coming back to

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
Jul 03 2025

Very catchy and poppy, with that unique Morrissey wit. Interesting guitar riffs and groovy bass lines. Use of synth is cool. Diverse record of ballads and rocky pop tracks. 3.5

Dookie by Green Day
Jul 09 2025

Poppy punk master class. Insanely catchy riffs and vocal performances, unmatched in its genre.

A Walk Across The Rooftops by The Blue Nile
Jul 10 2025

Very precisely produced pop album. Very tight and punchy performances. It's production is so clear and it gives it alot of air to breathe. The synth in this album is amazing. Second song dragged a bit and the lyrics were at times a little bit repetitive. There were very interesting sound effects with the synthesizer; a very pruned and dynamic album. Walking across the roof top, rags to riches, stay and automatic noise are favourites.

Jul 14 2025

Jazz with an organ and killer saxophone solos. Amazing, but maybe a tad repetitive. Maybe because I'm not the most seasoned jazz listener. Would probably go up with more listens. An enjoyable album.

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith

Jazz with an organ and killer saxophone solos. Amazing, but maybe a tad repetitive. Maybe because I'm not the most seasoned jazz listener. Would probably go up with more listens. An enjoyable album.
