Lots of Oasis classics but honestly it’s not my favorite kind of rock so i skipped 3/4 through. still nice to hear where the classics are from tho
lots of classics, didn’t realize they had so many tbh. good morning listen but i’m not the biggest fan of that 80s sound. reminds me of my first job
honestly couldn’t get through the whole thing just not the biggest fan of fleetwood mac. lowkey insists upon itself
favorite track: sara
least favorite: the ledge
Absolute classic. Made up for having to listen to Oasis and The Cara
Just a nice listen. i don’t listen to enough jazz
probably my favorite album so far in this project. loved nick drake before this but hadn’t listened to this album before. very good!
Liked it a lot; but still learning how to interpret jazz as a whole.
this album is like eating candy with a tooth ache. It’s good in the moment, but there’s a pain throughout. the woman’s voice compliments the music well but i can’t help but feel like it starts to annoy me/give me a headache after a while. not bad in general tho
i liked it but not really my entire vibe
objectively good but i’ve never been huge on the beach boys
real good
I really liked this album. The last few id been assigned were fine but this is a bit more down my alley.
I haven’t started listening yet but i’m excited.
Ok so i listened to it. It was fine, like I get it. I know who they are, i know what they are to the genre. but it was just very *”ROCK”* which is fine cause they’re mount rushmore for trash, but i think sounding “basic” in retrospect comes with the territory of revolutionizing something
Good
Fun, solid album
80% Sure ive listened to this already but I will give it another go
I like the talking heads but i’m never really like “man i wanna listen to the talking heads”. i know that might be controversial but it’s true. in my mind their music is like good playlist filler.
i have the utmost respect for prince and there was def a song or two that was added to a playlist from this album, I am just generally not a fan of the 80s sound.
I respect it a lot cause i understand its significance, but to me it really feels like it’s peak feeling is a “you had to be there” type of thing
Alright i’m cutting this one short. No fault on the album, but i just can’t listen to any more 80s albums. this one was much more stimulating than the others i’ve listened to recently, but i just don’t like these sounds.
There’s moments in this album that indeed sounds different, but there are plenty of moments with that 80s synth sound that just immediately makes me dissociate from what i’m listening to. I get it, it was the style and time. but fuck man this era made so much slop with that sound that i can’t even get through an album that IS doing something a little different
fuck yeah
listened some of it throughout the last few months/year, but great to listen through all the way
