Eagles by Eagles
Aug 12 2025

A bit generic tbh. They're feel somewhat like being undermined by their own success. Feels quite bland in the context of what's come since, but maybe they influenced later artists idk. No real standout tracks for me, not very interesting sonically.

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Aug 13 2025

Big Patti Smith vibes. Some clash-esque punkyness maybe, and kind of drifts into a pixies-adjacent vibe occasionally. Sonically quite enjoyable with some nicely raw irreverent lyrics.

Aug 14 2025

Sticks pretty closely to its specific vibe sonically, but there's still enough variety there to keep you interested. Some nice storytelling in the lyrics. Deals with some interesting themes as well at many points.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Aug 15 2025

Good solid country fare. Vibes from the crowd are quite enjoyable as well. Mr Cash employs a lot of nice simple but effective storytelling in his lyrics. Music has good vibes too.

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Aug 18 2025

Banger album. Mixes some blues influences with their garage rock sound with some indie sounds mixed in. Simple but effective production all throughout. Instrumentation is consistently great. Writing is simple but evocative.

Aja by Steely Dan
Aug 19 2025

An all time classic. Instrumentation, production, melodies are all out of this world. Lyrics are abstract but with a lot of hidden depths. Banger.

Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
Aug 20 2025

Kind of insane, kind of amazing. Always been fascinated by music that sounds nothing like what "good music" is supposed to sound like but still has an undeniable appeal to it. This certainly fits that mold.

Slipknot by Slipknot
Aug 21 2025

Not my cup of tea. Feels a bit cheesy and angsty for me. Hard to take it too seriously.

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Aug 22 2025

Very unique and compelling vocals.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Aug 23 2025

Her voice and vocal performance are truly one of a kind. All the songs are quite long, but it somehow works quite well. Very personal and evocative writing.

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Aug 24 2025

Interesting souly vibes. Good rhythms, good vocal performances. Got some nice energy to it and enough weird stuff to keep it interesting.

Shleep by Robert Wyatt
Aug 25 2025

Weird, beautiful and thought-provoking.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Aug 26 2025

Very bluesy, quite country. Nice og rock vibes.

Aug 28 2025

Great raw souly vocals. Great vibes and great tunes. You can really feel the energy in the venue coming through.

Aug 30 2025

Absolutely seminal. Would come to change the landscape of rap and music as a whole. A lot of interesting social commentary and novel aesthetics. A decent amount of it feels quite dated nowadays. Lyrics and melodies that come off as a bit quaint and silly in today's landscape.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Aug 31 2025

Heat from end to end. Heart of glass is an all time banger.

Elephant by The White Stripes
Sep 01 2025

It simply bangs.

Dookie by Green Day
Sep 02 2025

Got some banger songs on it. All my fav pop-punk wouldn't exist without oldies like this. ;)

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Sep 03 2025

Some all time classic tracks on this one. Nice soul and r&b vibes on much of the album while also retaining a bit more of a conventional pop ballad vibe throughout some tracks.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Sep 04 2025

Banger

B-52's by The B-52's
Sep 05 2025

Hear me out, it's like joy division meets kero kero bonito.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Oct 04 2025

Kind of banging millenial rock type ish.

Tom Tom Club by Tom Tom Club
Oct 05 2025

Very inventive and interesting. Some seminal pieces when it comes to sampling sources. Drags on a bit too much.

Superfuzz Bigmuff by Mudhoney
Oct 06 2025

Banger. Rough and grindy and satisfying as hell. First few tracks stick in my head for weeks.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Oct 08 2025

Some bangers. Dude has a very special voice but it works for this type of music. Whiney and emotional and dramatic in the best ways. But when they say 'infinite sadness' they really mean it, way too damn long of an album.
