David Bowies voice is so unique and the way he switches up his tone is interesing. There were a few songs that I listen to growing up on the album and I still really like them! But truth be told I was not a fan of most of the songs.. the instrumentals in the songs really did not stand out with the exception of the guitar in Ziggy Stardust and a couple others. Over all the albums is worth the few classics on it.

This brought back some great listening memories!! This album is filled with soul and Robert Plants vocals are just amazing. Zeppelin, to me, will always be at the top of the charts. What a pleasure to listen to a lot of these songs again.

Listening to these guys always puts a smile on my face. The way they harmonize is church choir worthy! To boot it almost seems each song features its own musical instrument guest. We have piano. Flute, harmonica etc...I enjoyed this album.

I do like jazz, but honestly only in specific situations, like a fancy restaurant, 1.5 glasses of wine into the evening, while delicately eating lobster tail and filet minion, provided I was not vegitarian. I can see myself swaying a little in my chair. This artist was very good and somehow stopped me from speeding while listening. 4 stars was giving because this would not be an album I would purchase to have in my music library, if I had one 😁

Where to start...I thought I liked all types of music, I lied to myself. This album was not my cup of tea, it gave me Silence of the Lambs, creepy guy trying on skin suits in a basement while listening to this album vibe. No matter how fast I ran I could not escape! Of course I was on a treadmill so that would be why. Why did I think I liked Radiohead? Because of ONE song, Creep (that why I did not do 1 star) and actually the covers of Creep are better. Hope this was not to harsh and apologies to the Radioheads out there.

I managed to find 1 song I that was worthy of my listening. I have to keep reminding myself some of these albums are pre-internet thus the reason I have never heard of them. And why I did not pick it up on MTV is also odd since that was one of the few forms of entertainment us Genexers had. I wonder if they blasted this album in the arcades 🤔 Anywho. Sorry to say another one did cut the mustard <-- what does that even mean?

I listened to this in my car and as soon as the music started my upper buddy had an auto sway dance response. I have heard this before, maybe not the group but the sound. Then it hit me, while waiting in a room for my aesthetician to drain my bank account this is the music they play through out the practice and I sway out of irritation of the wait and boredom. With that said because the production of the album was done well I gave it 3* however it will only ever be listened in the waiting room, its not my jam.

I am pretty indifferent I don't like or hate this group. They definitely had that sound of the era as well as the band drama 🙂 However I would not consider this Rock!! I

Yes has been a favorite of mine since the 1st time I heard them many years ago. It seems however, that I have only listened to a small sampling of thier music. After reading the rather interesting history of the band I may need to explore the different Yes albums and see what unique sounds I have missed. As far as this album goes I enjoyed listening to all the tracks discovering songs I have never heard. 5 stars!!!

Queen's songwriting combined contemporary progressive rock and heavy metal, which led to a "Led Zeppelin meets Yes" description of the band. <-- This would explain my 5* rating 😁 I believe Queen to be the most innovative, and talented band ever. Even songs I don't care to listen to outside this review I appreciate for its amazing production and uniqueness. I am really hoping to review another queen album and I am pretty certain I will because they are that awesome!! 100% enjoyed!!

When the 1st song played i buckled into what I thought would be a long tough listening ride. But as the songs progressed I found myself doing a familiar dance that I could not quiet put my finger on. Then it hit me...Wednesday Addams dance!!! I googled and sure enough the same group sang that song. Honestly, I had fun with most of the songs and I can see this playing in the back ground of a wild house party.

Caught stealing is the only song I am familiar with, the one song that when someone brings Janes Addiction up I am like "oh, I love that band" but nope, I don't. I scored them higher only because they have a unique sound and being able to come up with lyrics that make no sense and have people like it, is talent in its self . If scoring based strictly on my musical preferences a 2* rating would be placed. But I need to step out if that box and look beyond my likes and really listen to the production overall, so 4* it is.

I am afraid with all the accolades this band has I have no clue who they are. I really did not think they had some unique sound and it really was just back ground noise that when I did catch myself listening, it was kind of boring to me.

This was a tough listen for me. I have never been a fan of Bob Dylans voice, however my son loves him. He told me what he likes about Dylan and I re-listened to some songs through his ears. That did bring my scoring up because you should give kudos where kudos are due. Dylan was a talented musician. His songs were messages for the generations and his music not so overpowering so that message could be heard. I picture sitting around a firepit with a beer singing along side Bob Dylan with a group of like minded people. Which is saying something, because I don't like beer or most people 😁

Though not my favorite album from queen, I wont deny a 5 star review because frankly they are musical geniuses!!

I listened to 5 songs and couldn't muster the ear strength to continue.
