Kind of underwhelming. Some classic singles though
Very beautiful music. A little long winded but some good stuff in here.
Appreciated the different take on that classic 60s psychedelic pop sound. It just didn’t quite come together for me.
I’ve always been a Muse skeptic. I do think it’s corny at times, but the music is undeniably impressive.
I think it’s a generational thing. Not bad but it just wasn’t for me at all
Helpless and Our House are great songs. No other big highlights for me. Neil Young is something else.
Every song overstays its welcome. The flow is the same throughout, but the beats are great and there are some fun energetic moments.
Started off strong. He lost me a little bit early on but the back half sold me. Honestly the songs are getting better on re-listen, I’ll definitely revisit this one.
He couldn’t do what he was trying to do with this album any better. Really interesting arrangements that still feel exciting. Beautiful stuff.
Took me a few songs to catch the vibe, but once I did I really appreciated the mellow sounds. Will definitely revisit this one.
Definitely not something I’d normally listen to, but I really enjoyed it. Oh, Marie was a standout. Great energy
Adele undeniably has one of the greatest voices of a generation. Some of the singles have lost a bit of their luster for me, but Someone Like You is a perfect song.
Not shy of interesting ideas, apparently very influential. Maybe I missed the point but with respect to the great people of France this album is horseshit
Listened to this while I danced around the building at work tonight. Rhythm is off the charts. Voice sultry as hell. Some of the songs felt a little meandering at times to me, but I believe that’s kind of the idea with some music. Good stuff.
All the songs kind of sound the same but they all kind of rule too. I can see why Little Richard is revered. It makes me feel like I’m in a club in the 1950s when I listen to this. Great opening
This album shines in the slower moments
It’s interesting to see how the ideas on this album have spread throughout music over the decades. I just hate rockabilly. No offense Jackson Galaxy.
When it’s good it’s really good, but there were a few songs that kept it out of 5 star territory for me. Only love can break your heart, Til the morning comes and Oh, Lonesome Me were standouts
Haven’t heard Bob Marley since high school. Not for me at all, but I get it. Felt like a chore to listen.
Have you heard of these Beatles guys? They’re pretty good. Some of the songs enter the classics catalogue, some are better left forgotten. Hard to judge it fairly but it’s so clear they were operating on a different level for good and bad.
