New York Dolls by New York Dolls
Aug 26 2025

A delightfully energetic rock album, with some very memorable songs. 4/5

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Aug 27 2025

Some very iconic songs in this upbeat R&B album

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Aug 28 2025

An interesting, relaxed rap album. The piece entitled Jazz was particularly memorable

An interesting rock album, though not one that is exactly to my taste. This is Love stood as particularly memorable. Most of the other pieces were alright, though I think some of the lyrics were questionable

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Aug 30 2025

A delightful album, with mesmerising vocals and witty lyrics

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Aug 31 2025

A fun alternate rock album from the UK. A bit too slow for 5/5, but still a great album

Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta
Sep 01 2025

A really weird and interesting alternate rock album, reminiscent of some of MCR’s early albums. It is rare to stumble on something quite like this

Pretenders by Pretenders
Sep 02 2025

A really fun and original rock album

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Sep 03 2025

An undoubtedly talented rock musician, but this album was a bit slow for me

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
Sep 04 2025

A really interesting and unique rock album, with some very memorable (if bizarre) pieces

Boston by Boston
Sep 05 2025

Fantastic and iconic album

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Sep 06 2025

A classic rock album. Time and mimicry may have stripped it of some of its originality, but it was a very fun listen nonetheless. Joplin does an amazing job on the vocals

The Visitors by ABBA
Sep 08 2025

The iconic ABBA sound, but not the iconic ABBA songs

Abbey Road by Beatles
Sep 09 2025

I have never been a fan of the Beatles, and honestly this album confirms my initial impressions. Apparently, according to Rob Ager at least, this work inspired Stanley Kubrick when he directed the Shining. I hope for the Maestro’s sake that the bulk of the inspiration came from Throne of Blood (as his notes suggest) and not from this album. « Here comes the Sun » stood out, only because I distinctly remember waking up to this song after falling asleep watching a crackpot theory about The Shining Overall, the style and music is too languid

Bright Flight by Silver Jews
Sep 11 2025

At, first, I didn’t think the style would appeal to me, but Time Will Break the World changed that

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Sep 12 2025

Great album, though not Joel’s best

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Sep 13 2025

Okay, but a bit slow

Peter Gabriel 3 by Peter Gabriel
Sep 14 2025

I liked this album, despite some of the songs being a bit slow

Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon
Sep 17 2025

Had a “WTF!” reaction to every other song. Really fun and interesting

Imagine by John Lennon
Sep 18 2025

A bit dull

High Violet by The National
Sep 19 2025

Good, inventive songs, a bit on a slow side

All Directions by The Temptations
Sep 20 2025

Great music, amazing vocals

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Sep 21 2025

Great rock album, a classic yet still original

Parklife by Blur
Sep 22 2025

Really fun and catchy!

Live! by Fela Kuti
Sep 23 2025

Amazing vocals and music

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Sep 25 2025

Good vocals and some catchy songs, but overall, not quite to my taste

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Sep 26 2025

Good album, started strong, ended a bit weak

Bossanova by Pixies
Sep 28 2025

A weird and surprising album

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Sep 29 2025

A few catchy songs, sadly strewn amidst a lake of generic songs

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Oct 03 2025

Really unique. Wasn’t a fan of all the songs, but some were really great

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Oct 09 2025

Really unique trip-hop album
