Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Aug 26 2025

Distinct sound, but too much sameness for me. Definitely took some risks but had a clear vision

Aug 27 2025

Iconic voice, some great tunes, but the live version just feels like it’s the same song the whole time continuously. It takes away the character and clarity that the studio versions have. Good, but will never listen to it again.

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Aug 29 2025

First time listening to the pixies. Not since I listened to rumors by Fleetwood Mac have I been so challenged to figure out what a bands sound is because each song is so different from the one before it. You can also hear so many of the bands that came after them in each riff. This definitely got me to listen to more pixies! 5/5
