The music is creative, the rapping is smooth and laid back. lyrics are artistic, songs are not radio style at all. the vocals are not good-sounding, very nasal, but it's got meaning rather than glitz. good kid is great. poetic justice is very good. swimming pools and now I get it
Funky hip hop from years back. I appreciate it, though I’m not a huge fan
Classic late 1960's rock. Country tinge ontop of the distorted guitars, followed by folk-inspired acoustic.
awesome alt folk rock. harmonies and guitar blend well. great album.
What a cool sound! For me, this is a new mix of hiphop and what feels like Cuban or South American guitars and beats.
fun reimagining of popular songs with sitar taking on the vocal role.
Very popular electronic dance music. Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate its role and influence.
Funk and disco together, with a fantastic bass throughout. Disco has a bad name, though each instrument in these songs when taken alone is really impressive.
punk I grew with.
50’s rock and roll mixed with late 70’s feel.
Echos and effects, reggae mixed with post-punk and some pop. 80’s style hybrid with great drumming, singing, and guitar work. Excellent rhythm parts, fun bounce. Numerous songs also on their greatest hits completion Every Breath You Take: The Singles a few years later.

Eclectic...something I had never heard of before. Purposefully weird and creative for the sake of being creative; I liked it more than I expected to for that creativity. That said, I wouldn't share it or listen to it for enjoyment. It feels like a running SNL gag making fun of this sort music, but it's actually better than that description. Go in expecting silliness.
Love this album. awesome bass, great catchy songs, heart wrenching vocals. multiple top songs showing why Bowie was such a star.
A masterpiece with electronic and rock themes, which is amazingly made up of what almost counts as the B-sides from Kid-A. Recorded during the same sessions, these songs didn't have the same radio play as prior albums, which hurt the album's popularity. But the creativity and musicianship is top-notch. Radiohead choosing to branch out from 90's alt-rock and experimenting like there do here is why they rank as a top band of all time.
Fun pops psychedelic rock. Some interesting influences from a few genres. Great guitar work, light vocals and skilled drumming.

Great album id never heard before. Soul pop punk? I like it
great, simple funky rock. catchy beats and fun vocal performance. one of may favorites.
classic earlier metal, with vocals that are almost half punk in style. great musicianship, though I'm not a huge Iron Maiden fan due to the clash between the guitar style and the vocals.
funky insanity.
Ethereal poppy and fun. Great album I never knew existed. Will go into my collection for sure.
An utter classic cuban music album. Style and soul, beautiful and chill. My Dad's favorite album of the 1990's, and I get why.
Pretty good alt rock album, with vocals that are possibly too pretty for the style at that time. Compared to acts like hole, the grunge is missing from what otherwise feels like grunge.
Stellar bluesy rock album. Epic in scope and near perfect
Some excellent songs, but more country than I prefer. I was more of a Doors and Beatles fan. A very important album for rock and roll in any case.
Jazzy bossa nova with a funk bass sometimes? What a unique style.
Perfectly executed feeling. Wild 50’s rock with 80’s absurdity and great musicianship. I love it
Loud, distorted, pre-punk psychedelic rock. All about the noise. Way ahead of its time. That time is 5 seconds to decide your reason to be on the planet, to be part of the solution.
