Popular Reviews

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg

This is so far from my personal taste I almost struggle to believe some people actually enjoy it. It's groovy but in terms of lyrics I'd say it perfectly matches the tacky, tasteless cover.

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
Oct 10 2025

Brilliant. Joyful, love the vibe, especially enjoyed the first half

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Oct 13 2025

Give the guy what he wants he sounds desperate

Transformer by Lou Reed
Oct 14 2025

Hey honey, take a walk on the wild side

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Oct 16 2025

Hell no. Great arrangements and bass though. I'll quote another review by saying "Good background music. Shite foreground music."

Hotel California by Eagles
Oct 17 2025

It's probably easier to enjoy this album if you're not from the US. I must admit I was completely unaware of the controversy surrounding the Eagles, something I am only finding out now through the reviews I'm reading here. As an Italian listener, this album doesn't feel like "supermarket music", I'd say there's only a couple of songs that are widely recognized as big classics here, and with good reason: Hotel California and Life in the Fast Lane are absolute gems. While the other tracks don’t quite reach the same heights, I still found the album very enjoyable overall.

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Oct 20 2025

I doubt even my own mother would care about MY opinion on this absolute masterpiece. Also, just to give her credit, she's the one who introduced it to me.

The Specials by The Specials
Oct 21 2025

My dad is a huge Madness fan. Turns out the love for ska revival is a hereditary trait. I didn't really know The Specials, besides of course having heard "A message to you Rudy" before, but I'm glad I do now. I found myself humming "Too much too young" on my way to work.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Oct 22 2025

This is so far from my personal taste I almost struggle to believe some people actually enjoy it. It's groovy but in terms of lyrics I'd say it perfectly matches the tacky, tasteless cover.

Oct 23 2025

Had they been american it would have been a 1. Anyway, it's a no from me.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Oct 24 2025

An undeniably great voice that, for reasons beyond my comprehension, does nothing for me. I found it almost painful to listen to more than 3 songs in a row. Sorry Amy.

25 by Adele
Nov 07 2025

I simply ADORE Adele's voice and the whole album was better than I remembered.

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Nov 10 2025

I expected to like this more than I did. Still pretty cool.

Odelay by Beck
Nov 11 2025

So bizarre. Some songs definitely didn't meet my taste, some others I absolutely loved! I really wanted to listen to the whole thing just to see what would come up next — and yet it still felt surprisingly coherent as a whole. Cool.

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Nov 14 2025
Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Nov 17 2025

I really struggle getting into Dylan's music but this album is the best I've heard so far. And kind of my most prized possession but that's a story for another day

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Dec 04 2025

I'm giving this album a 2 but I have nothig bad to say about it. I can see why it's considered a classic, I can see why so many people love it. I just really hate heavy metal with a burning passion.

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Dec 11 2025

I’m fascinated by how we love, hate, like, or dislike voices for reasons that are entirely personal — and almost impossible to explain. While I fully recognise the grandeur of Bob Dylan, the sound of his voice has always bothered me. Same goes for David Byrne, whose voice severely hurts my brain in ways I cannot express. I couldn't explain exactly why I love Leonard Cohen and could easily listen to his entire discography back to back on a regular Thursday evening, but I sure do.

Blur by Blur
Dec 15 2025

I am one month older than this album and probably have the strangest association with it: nothing says Christmas like “Song 2” by Blur! My uncle used to play it every Christmas Eve when I was a little girl. I was the only child in a group of adults and was always pampered by everyone present. I would dance around and go wild in my red velvet dress, and when the “woo-hoo” part came, one of my relatives would take my hands and lift me up in a big jump. It’s a core memory for me, and I’ve loved the song ever since.

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Dec 18 2025

I'd give this a 10/5 if I could

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Dec 19 2025

Pretty repetitive, but they're repeating music I really like so I won't complain

Is This It by The Strokes
Feb 24 2026

Yes it is!! Effortlessly cool, i love this album.

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Feb 25 2026

I am finding it significantly harder to rate the albums that I already know and regularly listen to. So yeah, this is great of course, nothing to add.

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Feb 27 2026

Once again, here to state that I don't like rap. That being said, I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed this record. I couldn't tell you exactly what it is, but something works
