Risque
CHICBit boring, couple of really cool baselines but found some songs were overly long without going anywhere.

Brighton Rock mega album opener, guitar so good Killer Queen goes without saying, lyrically unbelievable and just a timeless track. Now I'm here really good track got everything, really gritty guitar riff that sounds familiar. Funky. Bring back Leroy brown really interesting, seems ragtime 50s inspired but so different from anything else on the album.
Couple of decent tracks, thought the cover was interesting and couldn't decided if it fit the album.
Just unlistenable for me, first track was only one I found slightly interesting but never found it more difficult to get through an album.
Unbelievable album really nice balance, guitars and solos carry a little, but to be expected with the title track being so infamous for the mega solo Think wasted time is a missed opportunity for a solo personally at the end, but a great track nonetheless Love the classic gritty rock tracks of victims of love and life in the fast line New kid in town didn’t grab me as much but still a great track - needs another listen Not huge on closing track personally Vocals are fantastic throughout, voices blend really well.
Some good instrumentation, but cannot look past his just irritating voice. Makes most of the tracks unbearable to listen to despite the potential for a few decent songs. Used to think Psycho Killer was a decent track but now all I hear is his ridiculous voice. 2/5
Hallelujah cover is good but bit boring as an album. Quite enjoyed last 3 tracks, started to get quite interesting n couple I would go back and listen to again. 3/5
Yeah, fair enough just a mega album. I generally find Reggae listenable but quite boring however this I enjoyed thoroughly all the way through. Only got better as it went on and loved the fusion of genres, especially the English rock influences due to my taste. Jamming, One Love and Three Little Birds all timeless songs, as well as Waiting in Vain, a new song for me that will be going straight into my playlist as I loved the track. 5/5
Not having it, like they took the Beatles idea of being n LSD when recording without the creative product. Boring, slow and just confusing. Not sure what elements of the album can even be described as influential. Murder Mystery is god awful and a right mess of 8 minutes. Won't be listening again. Gets a 2 purely on pale blue eyes and some kinda love which were just alright.
Very confused by the genre, not something I've heard before but can imagine it being very different for it's time. Produced in a bizarre way but actually don't hate it. REVERB. Actually some listenable parts but the vocals I struggled with at times especially with having no clue what she's saying. Quite enjoyed Persephone for some reason. Then took what felt like a huge change in direction with Pandora.
Quite enjoyed. Would definitely listen to something 4 the weekend again, really u my street. Found gathering moss really difficult to listen to but other than that a very enjoyable and different indie album.
Yeah fair enough is pretty mega. Only criticism is it started to feel a little samey by the time I got to barely legal, however Someday makes up for this and keeps it fresh. Proper no skips album.
Some interesting tracks but generally quite samey throughout and didn't really grab me. Definitely has a place for a certain mood though and some obviously great musicianship throughout.
Honestly a bit ridiculous. However a couple of the tracks actually made me feel something which is more can be said for the Miles Davis album I had to listen to. Most was a bit unlistenable but the disturbing nature it does actually manage to achieve prevents it from being a 1.
Really well constructed album and definitely worth another listen. Very disappointed I hadn't already heard of this guy as well up my street. Only complaint was the lack of a really great song but loved most tracks and no real skips. This may change on second listen.
