Highway to Hell
AC/DCNot the biggest AC/DC guy, but better listen than expected. Simple song structure, simple riffs, great guitar tones, and a whole lotta horny lyrics. Hell yeah

The Austin man himself! Vulnerable, somber, yet hopeful throughout. Feels like an intimate conversation with a friend.
Surprised by the variety of styles in this album. Rock, blues, swing ish, psych. Didn’t notice a theme which I both appreciate and made it an odd listening experience. Overall a fan
Great story telling! Felt genuine. Was very impressed overall and would definitely spin again
Captivating! Weird time shifts, key changes. I can feel the rebellion inside of what you could describe as pop songs met with punk. Not a huge fan of his voice but it’s interesting. Drummer stood out the most. I actually liked this and might check out their other stuff
This was a fun, warm, foot-tapping kinda album with great overall writing. Despite a few skips, there’s a lot of tracks to love here like I can’t dance, brass buttons, $1000 wedding, and in my hour of darkness. Loved the backup vox as well
Some definite classics on here. Always have liked any zeppelin and it doesn’t stop here. Groovy riffs and weird sections
2.8: Some cool riffs and organ, a few cool tracks, guitar and organ collabed well, but overall I didn’t like it too much. Genre of rock I am not drawn to
3.6 Dude is just clowning the troops over some funk guitar. I’m with it
Dude dropped the n word?? Fine music but not my cup of tea. Kinda felt like a musical soundtrack without being catchy. Last track I enjoyed though
Impressed by the sound for when this came out. I’m a garage rock fan and this seems to me like a pioneer of the genre which is cool. Shoutout the Austin boys! I enjoyed it but wasn’t enamored either.
Idk man it’s an art form. I’ll give it to them and say that I’ve thought about this album a lot after finishing even though I didn’t enjoy it. No song structure just one sound and a couple layers with sporadic vocals. Frankie Teardrop ruined my day though
Some good, groovy listening. Loved how clean the guitars sounded. Would prefer a different vocalist to accompany it but it’s tolerable….is what I would have said if I just heard the first couple songs but I found him to be more and more annoying unfortunately. His shouts are giving me flashbacks to Suicide. But enough complaining. Very bright and happy music that I enjoyed overall!
Loved all of this. Always liked BD and this just strengthened that. Great song composition, lyrics, and almost gave me confidence is a weird way. My favorite album so far!
Sweet n savory mix of groove and psych. Really liked this top to bottom and having Little Wing you can’t go wrong
Not bad. Was hoping for more talk box. Imagining the crowd when he pulls it out and how hype that’d be. Easy listening but not memorable
2.8 Disclaimer I only listened to disc 1! Enough fun synth, drums, bass, and guitar elements to make me enjoy it. If they removed the vocals I wouldn’t be mad. Sometimes sounded like the intro to an educational video from grade school
