The La's are a poppy Brit rock with a nice blend of the 80s and 90s sound. They remind me a little of Blind Melon with stripped down sets. They also seem to have an early Indie sound more popular in the mid to late 1990s. Overall 3.5, good, but not memorable.

One of the most important albums on Jazz. It's a little in-between big band and cool for my taste but set the path for cool jazz sound. 4.5

Solid David Bowie, continuation of the spiders of Mars sound with good hits but wouldn't be high on my list of Bowie albums.

A jazz standard, improv at its best.
