I didn't like it very much. I think I would have liked this more if I was in my 20's. Side A was really pretentious sounding, although I did smile when I heard Phil Collins sing on "More Fool Me".
Some bits still made me smile though.

I really liked this. this is quite different to what I usually listen to but I really enjoyed it. NOt sure if I will be going back to it any time soon, but I'm glad I've heard it.
Really intimidating for me, didn’t really get along with it. Might revisit this but for now I think it will remain, as most jazz does for me, a bit of an uncrackable mystery.

When I started discovering music I absolutely loved this. This was one of the first ever albums of costellos that I listened to. Loads of catchy tunes and that voice! Pretty amazing for a debut if you really think about it. Alison hits you out of nowhere. Still one of his best tracks. Costello goes on to have a pretty awe inspiring career. Looking forward to getting another one of his later in the journey.
This is so so good. Not only are the vocals, lyrics and performance great, but it’s also so well produced.

Can really tell this is a pre album era, proto rock, etc. fizzes at the start and then just like, 10 minutes at least of filler.
yeah im not very well versed in rap or hip hop so I guess its only fitting that I expand my horizons into it through the most caucasian music project of all time.
Anyway, what can I say about this. I was surprised it was made in 1990, that's just amazing. The sound is so much more modern than the release date in my view. Another thing is I really like LL Cool J's voice - he has a lot of range. Smooth on one track to aggressive on the next. Overall I liked it a lot.
Not gonna claim to get this one eh. Redondo beach…? Like….huh?
Prescient stuff. The run from Theme to Public Image is absolutely banging. Amazing bass playing. But, what the fuck was that last track?

One album a day is pretty tough and maybe not enough time to spend with something to really pass judgement, but having said that, I think that if an album invites you to revisit it again that should immediately add another star for me.

Oh to be cursed witn having made a song as good as “The Killing Moon”. Incredible vocal performance and definitely an influential sound. It's just that there's not a single track that is anywhere as close as "The Killing Moon".
