1001 Albums Summary

i had fun listening to it on way home to syracuse for thanksgiving. a change of pace. i think i liked the songs that autogenerated afterwards better because they had a bit more of a clear melody lol. i really liked the microtones play with the sitar and had fun thinking about how many worlds there are and how nothing is a universal language. it also is fun to rate this as an album because transformed into immutable mobile it is no longer merely an authentic rendition of indian music. so which standards of album am i supposed to use in my rating?

i liked more than anticipated. it was easy background listening while driving around in the snow.

this was a lot of fun to listen to. goktug described rock as sex drugs sleeping around and punk as fuck the system. that was helpful for an illiterate like me. they were happy i liked green day. i think the energy is fun though it’s a bit claustrophobic blasting it in the car, maybe only because im still uncomfy in my skin!

this was so good i really enjoyed. my favorite was when he said my life i want money and power and sydney said that's in a lot of anime edits.

really loved this, wish i had gotten a chance to take a bath while listening to it. totally unexpected voice

catchiest album ever i love it how could i not. goktug says it’s dreamy i think its so ripe for bopping

sounds like people don’t like britrock but i enjoyed, i did fall asleep on the way to painted post so could listen again but mostly i feel like i liked it because it was associated with the smiths.

I liked it! But maybe i like his other music more. Indian summer was a fun time.

I like the drums in this album. Goktug says its got prog rock feeling bc intricate solos and intros blends into math rock of very intricate rhythms.

I really enjoyed listening to this, felt instantly familiar, kind of like prototypical jack johnson LOL but definitely less cringe. hated that coconut song i won't like.

i guess this was fun to listen to, electronic and mildly entertaining but i didn’t really care at the end of the day

from the opening twangs i knew i really didn’t like this. took me so long to get through it 1001 albums marked me as on hiatus

at first was very disconcerted by how ominous and menacing it all sounds. but came to appreciate all the mumbling and shouting and talking and sometimes singing. i’m not sure when j would be in the mood to listen to this but i think it could create the mood for me

has the arctic monkeys melodrama, the bad lyrics, but there are really catchy instrumentals. goktug hates the band name. people describe as arctic monkeys w a 60s mod rock feel

i loved this, maybe country really is my thing. god bless john cash indeed, this was such a cool album and wow when he sang san quentin... so electric.

couple of bangers, classic rock and roll i can’t be mad. but lyrics are rather uninspired

thought was very mid and boring but then i listened to another girl another planet and loved it, another one of those whiny rock stars sounds like velvet underground but spotify described lead peter perrett as raffish & scuzzy so i liked it even more
