Popular Reviews

Machine Head by Deep Purple

the best thing about this album is that i’ll never have to listen to it again. i’m too gen z for this shit

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins

i don’t hate how the album sounds but i couldn’t bring myself to care about a single song

i liked the sound of the opener, the vocals and tempo were interesting and varied enough to keep my attention, though i didn’t care for the lyrics. the rest of the album blended together in an irritating background noise and i was just waiting for it to end. 2/5 just because at least i liked one song.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin

this is just not my kind of of music, though i like how The Rover sounds

Raw Power by The Stooges

didn’t enjoy one minute of this. had to skip some songs halfway bc i knew they would just make my morning worse and worse the longer i listened to them

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra

99% percent of jazz hurts my brain and this is sadly not an exception :( so i can’t judge fairly

i desperately wanted to appreciate an album that at least came out after i was born. alas, it’s boring as as hell. nothing Foreground about it. background noise ass shit

Let England Shake by PJ Harvey
Dec 12 2025

i really wanted to enjoy this album more. i like the sound a lot, and i respect songwriting about one’s country and wars. however, there's just a little too much patriotism that puts me off. the lyrics remind me of a flatter version of poems about motherland and war from my primary/middle school curriculum.

Doolittle by Pixies

i got my hopes up because Debaser sounded fun, though i didn't like it enough to want to listen to it on it's own. alas, i could not find anything i personally liked in this album, even after listening to it 3 times

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey
Dec 17 2025

my wife said it’s a good album, tracing her finger over the tracklist, vocalizing lines from each of the songs she likes. i recognized some of the songs from her singing them to herself. i enjoy her performance better. but i’ll still give it a 4 since my wife loves it and i love my wife

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Dec 24 2025

enjoyable when you need chill background music but want it to be just a little bit peculiar :)

Sister by Sonic Youth

fun, wouldn’t listen to again
