Bold choice to get weird in the middle on your solo debut album, but I guess it's the perfect opportunity to do so? Liked what I heard, though I could've personally done with fewer road noises. Might go on to listen to other albums.
I was not familiar with Bowie's game; I should listen to more of his work because I quite liked this.
So I learned that I'm not that big a fan of Cash with this one, so whilst I can tell they this is a Good Album it just didn't resonate with me.
Dog it's Abbey Road, everyone knows this is a Certified Banger. Like, come on. Top to bottom, bangers all the way through. Personal favourite of mine being Maxwell's Silver Hammer, which I know is offbeat, but still.
Only giving it a 4 though because that's reserved for the things I personally really, really like.
I liked it well enough; I've heard some of the big ones off this album before, and the rest was good, it just hasn't stuck with me that well.
Good, but not great. I enjoyed it well enough, though I feel that starting with their debut album is doing this band a disservice.
I need more than a conga drum circle and shouting, man. Like, I can tell the skill and passion behind this, but God this one isn't my cup of tea.
I liked it well enough, don't really have much more to say.
This is White People Music. Truly, some of the most generic shit I've ever heard without being bad. Like, it's clearly well made, and I'm enjoying hearing it, but there is absolutely no way I'm retaining anything about this album five minutes after finishing it.
This wasn't necessarily my cup of tea when it comes to rap — I tend to prefer having a lot more to the backing track — but I can see why it's so influential.
man this sucked i do not enjoy the beastie boys
God it sucks that I took this long to listen to Manic Street Preachers. This is that Good Shit, like at three tracks in I was checking to see if there were more albums of theirs on the list so I can listen to the albums of theirs that aren't on the list. Not a 5/5, though I feel further listening could change that.
There is a lot going on in this album that I would enjoy... if it wasn't absolutely smothered in all the things I dislike about the average heavy metal song. Frustrating and disappointing.
Quite enjoyable, nothing amazingly mind-blowing, just a good album.
One of, if not the, best to ever do it. This album was great.
I enjoyed it overall, not my usual cup of tea but I could get into it if I'm in the right mood. Otherwise, bit too dark and dreary.
this album is if you took the median average music of 1970 and put it in an industrial blender to create the audio equivalent of chicken nuggets
Now this is more like it; this is more the Iron Maiden I expected. Good shit, might make it into the rotation.
Wasn't familiar with the artist, so I was pleasantly surprised by getting some good ol' funk. Good vibes.
It's Aerosmith. They're good, if not exciting.
Good album, though it did kinda blur together for me.
Not usually my kind of thing, not really a club kind of person, but I did enjoy this. It's not getting into the rotation, but I might go back to it sometimes.
Dude is the GOAT. So the only song of his I was at all familiar with was Hallelujah, so I wasn't expecting 80s synth pop, but like, this shit's great.
Some good, chill jazz; nothing much to note, didn't rock my world but y'know it was good.
