Tidal by Fiona Apple
Dec 10 2025

Shadowboxer sounded like it would be a montage song for a hallmark movie where the main lady doesnt end up marrying a christmas tree farmer but does leave her CEO boyfriend and reconnects with her friends in NYC. Very Fiona Apple but the whole album kinda felt the same.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Dec 11 2025

Since Wikipedia said this album was a cover of Pop Standards I decided to listen to some older versions of the songs to compare. I really liked "On the Sunny Side of the Street". While it was very country it also felt jazzy and out of all of the tracks kept the most big band/jazz influence from previous versions. Overall I liked the older versions better than Willie Nelsons.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Dec 12 2025

I forgot how much I like Janelle. Locked inside had insane lyrics but sounded like copacabanna neon valley street's beginning feels like the Disney "when you wish upon a star" A wide range of musical influences makes each track on this album it's own individual piece instead of sounding all the same, while the overall message and story this album tells allows the wide variety of sounds to come together as a cohesive whole.

Horses by Patti Smith
Dec 14 2025

Didnt end up listening to the whole album. Not my fave

Brutal Youth by Elvis Costello
Dec 17 2025

I wanted to like this album more than I did. Unfortunately, I found it very over stimulating and I had to turn it off multiple times throughout the day so I could think.

A Wizard, A True Star by Todd Rundgren
Dec 18 2025

Honestly shocked I haven't head this album before it feels like something my dad would love. I liked Dogfight Giggle even though it sounded more like happy guinea pigs.

Rising Above Bedlam by Jah Wobble's Invaders Of The Heart
Dec 19 2025

Absolute banger. Added to the rotation

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Dec 20 2025

I like talking heads but had not yet listened to this album. I liked it

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Dec 21 2025

White boys with some groove. Felt personally attacked by the favorite cousin

Dec 24 2025

I listened to this album but literally cannot remember it once i finished

Dec 26 2025

It was fine. Why did that one fucking guy give a monologue over the music for silent night? Just give me the actual song idgaf about him.

Rio by Duran Duran
Dec 27 2025

Great music. Listened pn repeat for a roadtrip

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Dec 29 2025

Sounded good but the lyrics are questionable

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Dec 30 2025

The girl from ipanema is iconic and the rest of the album is equally enjoyable.

Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Dec 31 2025

Elton john is great but i really dont like a lot of him all at once.

Kid A by Radiohead
Jan 01 2026

If I had found this album in 2017, it would have been foundational to my personality

Shadowland by k.d. lang
Jan 02 2026

Lesbian country

Cut by The Slits
Jan 04 2026

This was not for me

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jan 06 2026

In the true spirit of jazz all of the tracks on this album are long as shit
