All Things Must Pass by George Harrison

1970 post beatles single contributor album. Randomly had eric clapton on it? Some good songs, very of its time to me.

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground

It was nice to listen to this and read about it and learn more. This album was an answer to the prior era of the band like when they had the one with niko case and also white lights or whatever it is. This is after they kicked out John Kale since Lou Reed wanted commercial success, but this sold even worse lol. There are songs on this album I've heard in movies like science of sleep for After Hours and Candy says and Pale Blue Eyes. I feel like understanding the influence this had on future bands and waves is important, and I think its like a cool guy thing to be "in" on this band and this album. I enjoyed it, I almost wish I did even more too be truly cool but I'm like one step back off that. If you really listen in on the lyrics of Candy Says it take son like a better meaning even since its about someone who is transexual dealing with that at the time in New York and there's a nice "anti mxing" going on all over so make the production very raw.

I give this a two more just from listening to it. When I looked into the "why" behind why this album has acclaim I did not know much about trip hop. The album is very understated but when I understand the influence it does become more interesting. But still I don't really enjoy it, its more academic.

bunch of standard covers. Idk why this is on this list I mean its interesting to see that its four in a row, proves an interesting range.
