a very consistent album with similar instrumental
yet quite emotional and perfectly crafted
genius lyrics
would have appreciated more variation in the vocalisation
morissey's voice is also not really interesting or engaging to me
sounds rather unique from other British albums of that time?? idk you tell me
melancholic and symbolic lyrics, clever rock instrumental combined with jingles
surprised that the cover is alain delon lmao
a very nice, groovy sound i am not used to
have to say it does get slightly repetitive, even though it doesn't loose the grooviness. just not really suitable for listening while sitting down and not moving
starting off with a bomb literally. not something that i ever listened or would listen to. appreciate the guitars tho. i guess the lyrics are deep, i just didn't really want to listen to them.
omg why
i don't like jazz
i guess i should appreciate this anyways it's so old, there were no other ways of making music
his voice is truly iconic
had to take a pause after the 8th song cause I was falling asleep I am so sorry, mr. sinatra
okay, after the break it got better
still don't like it though. very one-time, one-vibe listen
yessss
loved blonde but never got the chance to listen to this one so let's see
very strong, melodic presence in every song
his voice on every instrumental is like knife through soft butter
really good and even if one song lets me down the next one immediately hits in all the right places
reallyyyyy liked the drums
also, it's 14 years old but still sounds fresh
i am so sorry to say that but i was bored
not my genre at all, and there were no vocals as well
take five is cool
i would rate it lower, but i have respect for this album
justin is definitely not doing any heavy lifting on this album
like the songs are not bad but they don't fit him at all. i guess it's the effect of the 20 years that have passed since the release
the songs are sooooo long too
i was bored by the end
ok this sound exactly as i expected it to sound
not bad, just not at all surprising
good transitions!
kind of giving ost
despite loving them in the moment, the songs, for some reason, just don't leave a lasting impression
words hit and i ascended
very pretty
the decisions in some moments are a bit rough for me
don't really appreciate the sudden jumps of energy between songs
ok the plot is found again later
lost it again
kind of confused about the overall impression of the album
not gonna lie I was about to skip it as today's album
but I decided to give it a chance
was okay at the beginning. however, I soon got bored
the sound of it is really new to me and simple, but pleasant
but country is really not a genre for me, even if more sophisticated, like this one
kind off a lot of screaming, but it works really well
really interesting and the effect of being the audience of the show is intriguing
good bowie stuff
you know who's jealous of adele...
looking back, the album was made kind of huge
it doesn't feel like that when you listen to it
a good album anyways
and as always, adele and her voice are the greatest assets of the album, not the producing or the lyrics. even though they feel like very personal
one of my favourite albums ever
and one of the best albums ever made
so no surprises (yeah like the song) here
oh post-rock you are always a hit or miss for me
at first I was sure this was a miss
it does have some good sounds, but overall feels more of a spiritual experience (for some maybe) than a musical (what I was expecting)
was getting hard to sit through
crazy how it is so hughly-rated
maybe I am just undeveloped idk
it does however sound very interesting and novel so bonus points for that
this is fun!
really
didn't rate it on the day I should have, saw it and went back because not to listen to and rate it would be a crime.
a classic for a reason.
nooooo don't make me listen to morrissey again.....
ok this is better on the ears maybe
but less interesting
like, nothing stands out to me
interesting but didn’t hook me
oooh okay
this is good
and the two-part structure is intriguing
There She Goes, My Beautiful World is my fav in Abattoir Blues
The Lyre of Orpheus stays for homework, couldn't listen to it
not invested at all sorry
yay another bowie
i prefer his more rock-y eras though
this is not bad however, just doesn't compare to me
intriguing
but i can't adequately rate it, since i listened to it in a bad place and my head hurt from these constant screamy vocals
finally its FUN out here
i see why so many artists cite jamiroquai as inspiration
the tracks on their own wouldn't be that impressive, this is more of a whole product. and the album in its entirety is more impressive than the songs.
call me stupid i don't get it as much as you do lol
great, not phenomenal enough for me though
