1001 Albums Summary

Started off pretty good, was surprised I don't listen to more. Got more skippable by the end. Not a bad album, not a must have either. Will keep listening to them.

Love Son of a Preacher Man but the rest of the album didn’t do it for me. I’ll try again when I’m in a different mood

Considering my hatred of We Are Family, I was pleasantly surprised by this album. It was easy listening, kind of reminded me of the girl groups from the 60s

I just couldn't get into it. It's not a bad album, but didn't hold my interest

Best album yet, love Janis and the song Crybaby is one of my favs. Would absolutely buy this on vinyl

Honestly, better than I expected. I'm not a big Bob Dylan fan but I liked this album.

Pretty good! I liked the sound, very 90s grunge influenced and reminded me of Brand New meets Nirvana.

Such a classic album. Got a little repetitive in the middle but easily a 4.5

It was fine, it sounded like the inspiration for the 80s, with 60s vibes. No songs really stood out and it wasn’t my fav sound.

It was a very different style than I usually listen to, but I liked it! One day wasn't enough time to make a decision about the rating because I feel like it would definitely grow on me the more I listen. Reminded me of the Great Gatsby soundtrack with the big band sound.

It had two really good songs, but outside of those, it would be a solid 3.

I wanted to like this album because I really like Bowie’s earlier stuff. It just didn’t do it for me

I would rather throw my earbuds into traffic than listen to funk. If you like funk, this seems like a fun album for you. Sadly, I am not that person as I understand why Van Gogh cut off an ear.

This album reminded me of the episode of Friend's with Ross' "sound" combined with the sound of dial up internet. Two star because I'm sure for people who enjoy these noises, it's musically sound but unfortunately, that is not me.
