That was a lot of fun, I haven’t really listened to jazz before. I listened with claire during breakfast, I was eating a yogurt bowl and untangling a bunch of yarn across my projects to sew in ends at the cafe today, I felt like an escape artist!
Listening to this after John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme album. I like that there are some introductions happening and stage talking.
Was really vibing with Pt 1 Festival Junction and then something terrifying happened at the end, maybe that was a kazoo?
Listened to the rest with a squad over for brunch, jazz was a lovely addition to the gathering
The 80s are fun. Running Up That Hill used to be a Vampire Diaries song but I think it will now forever remind me of Stranger Things instead.
The rest was fun and made me wish I was alive in the 80s and could bop around concerts all the time and sing along to a bunch of these crazy sounds.
I was a little bit scared of the monster talking in Waking The Witch, but definitely made me pay attention.
Have been vibing with the radio playing after the album too
This is amazing. Feeling transcended.
The piano in The Crystal Ship- I can just picture myself falling in love with the keyboardist at the concert.
Simon & Garfunkel always reminds me of my mom.
I had never listened to the full album before. Cecelia and The Boxer are old favorites, I also really liked Keep the Customer Satisfied, might be my new fave from them.
Impossible to not sing along, vibes of the day have improved tremendously
Okay bongo rock, I see your game. I’m beep bopping along happy as a clam.
The Jump On It sample or whatever happened in the first song made me excited for the rest of the album
I’m so sorry, I’m exhausted by the bongos. After four songs I was questioning my life decisions, they all sounded the same after the first song and not super in greatest way
Happy to have tried bongo rock, onto the next
I feel like we should’ve had this album on a Monday and not Friday but I’m still vibing. Were claire and I singing California Dreamin’ down the sidewalk on our walk to flour? Perhaps. Hehe
Are those violins in Do You Wanna Dance?? I love what’s happening here. I wanna dance 😍
I love this era
It’s giving sad vibes but I’m not loving it
Like old techno head bop around but also emo and maybe a lil scary. Not against it but prob won’t listen again
Fast car is a classic. The rest of the album was pretty sad to actually listen to :( I also didn’t know how old it was
This is respectfully not my sound. Fun fact tho I was a waitress at a restaurant called Broken English in Chicago
