1001 Albums Summary

Solid album, with punctual highlights (personally) in Tiny dancer, a song i've heard other times, but hearing it the context of the album makes it that much more special. A great discovery is Indian Sunset, loved the drama and theatrical sense it has, great tune. The other songs are not bad, but they are less memorable in the repertoir.

Fine album. Great to relax to, it's groovy and full of sentiment. Might have to listen more than one time to digest the lyrics, which are the highlight of the album, considering when it was released.

I did not get the hype around this album. In all the reviews I read post hearing it for the first time, it was acclaimed as a "revolutionary" piece of music, pushing the limits of punk and going beyond it. I agree it does go beyond, but in a territory that's not to my liking. Mixing reggae or ska rythims doesn't work too well for me.

I really enjoyed it. Very chill, subtle but profound songwriting. Enjoyable both in background music and in listening with attention to every word.
