1001 Albums Summary

Started really strongly with Drive and I really enjoyed the first three songs. Everybody hurts felt like a tonal change and this was the only song on the album that I’d heard before. Then the middle part of the album felt a bit flat but Man on the Moon, and Nightswimming were very good towards the end.

Wasn’t my favourite. Found it quite unexciting. Just not a huge fan of the sound.

Bootleg led zeppelin. Maybe will listen more but not hugely interested

Kendrick is good. Never been a huge fan but know this album. On a relisten didn’t discover any new favs.

Enjoyed sledgehammer but the rest was fineeee.

A classic

A bit weird. Didn’t love it or hate it. Some nice guitar pieces that are up my street. But in general not interesting enough. Bit too Flash Gordon for me

Smooth and great. Saved a few songs and would definitely enjoy again

Dollar days was my favourite. An interesting sound but not my favourite side of Bowie. A bit too odd for me

It’s Zeppelin so cannot go wrong!

I quite liked this! Saved a few songs. She sounds like Sinead O’Connor

Knew wild world and father and son already. It’s a nice album but I don’t love it

Not bad. A bit more nuanced than what I expect from Blur. I always just think of them as quite silly

On your own was my fav. But in general I don’t love their sound. Solid 3
