Strange Brew: very very bluesy, very fun, cool guitar solo, lyrics are simple but i think theyre fun and fit. Overall a pretty fun and laid back song. 7.5/10 Sunshine of Your Love: this is a great song i like the jam i like the lyrics, love the bass and guitar. really fun! 7.8/10 World of Pain: I like the lyrics, jam is great, i like the bass and the guitar, and the drumming is so so good. very good song! 8.2/10 Dance the Night Away: Bruce's voice is so beautiful in this, very nice lyrics, sick guitar and drumming. very good 8.1/10 Blue Condition: something was off with the vocals w this for me, but i liked the song overall, it was chill. 7/10 Brave Ulysses: Cool story telling! Very jammy. vocals are so like "yelling" sounding, like why is he yelling?? 7.3/10 SWLABR: Def the most jammy song in the album. Its funnn. 7.7/10 We're Going Wrong: It's interesting, definitely the most unique song they have on this album, it's not bad. 7.4/10 Outside Woman Blues: uhh interesting lyrics (ik its a cover, but why even choose this song its kinda ehhh)? everything else is fine. 6/10 Take It Back: It's alright, i feel like its a little bland. 6.5/10 Mother's Lament: silly ending. 5/10

"Beauty and the Beast" and "Joe the Lion" are just... ok... I don't think they're anything amazing but they're just alright. 3/5 for both "Heroes" is by far the best song on this album. It's lyrics, instruments, the feeling, the mood, it's all peak. It's simply amazing! I will always have this on my playlists, it's just so peak. 5/5!!! "Sons of the Silent Age" got better than the first two, and more enjoyable. 3.5/5 "Blackout" is also alright, I enjoyed the instrumentation more than anything else. 3/5 Tracks 6-9 are all ambient, and they are all about the same quality for me. They are just all "ok". I would rather listen to actually better ambient songs rather than these, so I can't really give them all higher than a 3/5. And "Secret Life of Arabia" was also just Ok. 3/5 Idk there's just nothing that really sparked for me in this album other than Heroes, which upsets me because I really wanted to like more songs, but this is already me being pretty generous with the ratings 😭

For reference, this is my first time really listening to Reggae. Lively Up Yourself: So fun, I can see myself just putting this on and relaxing and vibing soooo harddd. 4/5 No Woman No Cry: Beautiful song, very nice lyrics, also really fun to listen too!! 4/5 Them Belly Full (But We Hungry): another great deeply rooted song from what i can tell. its great!! 3.75/5 Rebel Music: So laid back sounding, ahh the harmonica is great!! 3.5/5 So Jah Seh: Yea its like good. 3/5 Natty Dread: yea imean its like the same. 3/5
