Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt

I will never again tell people that I enjoy all forms of music.

So by Peter Gabriel
Feb 10 2026

Sadly, the only song I really knew off the bat was Sledgehammer. Throughout the day, I gave it two spins. I read about it, and after doing so, I don’t know that I have anything particularly good or bad to say about the album. I definitely wasn’t eager for the listen to be over or anything like that. I feel like I knew Gabriel was the lead singer of Genesis back in the day, but when I read about the album I was reminded of it. Not a bad first entry on this journey.

Horses by Patti Smith
Feb 11 2026

I read about how Patti Smith was sort of the Godmother of punk. I would not doubt that is true, but I was delighted when this album was over.

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Feb 12 2026

This was my first eye-opener on this list. I don't know much about Stevie Wonder and I won't pretend to know that I do. However it is clear to me that once he got to a certain point of popularity "they" must have told him to stay in a particular lane because this seems far removed from the vibe of a guy I knew growing up.

Kid A by Radiohead
Feb 13 2026

The first one on this list that I was familiar with. While I was never much of a Radiohead fan growing up, I have learned to appreciate them over the years. The first track on this album was on the Vanilla Sky soundtrack, so that was a very familiar beginning. The experimentation on this album is obvious, and I’m sure it was pretty divisive to their fans back in its time the same way Pink Floyd’s albums were sometimes.

Feb 14 2026

While I am not sure I ever listed to this album in particular, I was familiar with a lot of the songs on this album. There's actually quite a few of his legendary tracks on this album. I gave it three spins over the course of the day. He's really got a knack for story-telling and it was really made clear on this album.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Apr 20 2026

This was the first album I ever owned, so it will forever hold a place in my heart. There is also something to be said about all the dark undertones of Cornell's lyrics, after seeing how we parted ways with such an incredible soul. Rest in Peace Chris, we know what you wanted to tell us.

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Apr 30 2026

Honestly, I wont tell people I hate the Beatles anymore after hearing this album.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac

Epic. What a story behind this album too.
