1001 Albums Summary

honestly, I had not listened to much of Bob Marley before this album, but just kept the good vibes rolling in terms of album Exodus was my favorite song. however, as an overall album pretty solid, not my favorite.

surprisingly short album, perfect length of songs in my opinion for this album head bopping!

Shorter than I preferred, but not bad! Iconic classic 80s sound but did not stand out much to me.

Surprised that I hadn't listened to David Bowie earlier in life. This album was a blast, I love David's use of different instruments. The piano solo in Aladdin Sane was CRAZY!

Very confused with this one, did not vibe with it.

Electric blues, what a BLAST. Muddy Waters has such a distinct and satisfying voice that feels like it was made for blues and story telling. Overall fun, satisfying, and cool album. I’m not much a blues listener normally but this rocked!

I actually loved this album more than I thought I would. As his last album, Bowie sounds older and wiser. I loved the experimental jazz elements of the songs, and overall, I felt like I vibed more with this album than his Aladdin Sane album.

Listened to this while on a run and loved it! They have such a distinct nostalgic 80s vibe to them that I personally enjoyed. I heard one of their songs in Stranger Things but didn’t think to explore them more before now.

Some of the songs sounded the same towards the middle but other than that rocking album!

Pretty solid album!
