You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen

A beautiful swan song from one of the most legendary songwriters to ever live. RIP

Marquee Moon by Television

bro please stop looking at me like that

In Utero by Nirvana
Jun 05 2026

Even better on relisten

The Stooges by The Stooges
Jun 07 2026

yeah i get the stooges are influential but they also kinda suck

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Jun 09 2026
The Gilded Palace Of Sin by The Flying Burrito Brothers
Jun 14 2026

Sometimes exactly what you need is music that’s predictable, nostalgic, and makes you feel right at home. Sounded like fresh biscuits and gravy from cracker barrel. Thanks burrito bros

Jun 15 2026

I expected this to be a dud for me given how much I’ve disliked Genesis in the past, but consider me happily surprised because this album was pretty decent. Some stuff didn’t click but the sheer scope and ambition of this project alone have earned Genesis my full respect. It’s still a tenuous 4 stars

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Jun 16 2026

I really want to love Neil Young. He’s done amazing work throughout his career, much of which I adore, but this album just felt sort of bland. No stellar highs, no creative risks, just Neil playing to his strengths.

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Jun 19 2026

nothing burger

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jun 20 2026

Johnny Cash is one of the best to ever do it, and I don’t think anyone in history could have brought the personality to these performances that he did. Easiest 5 stars of my life. The man just don’t miss

Kala by M.I.A.
Jun 22 2026

M.I.A. is an artist who never really piqued my interest enough to actually make me want to check out a full album from her. I kinda knew Paper Planes but not enough to comfortably hum it, and beyond that I knew practically nothing about her. And man this one just did not do for me. Wanted to like it more than I did, but the inconsistent and cluttered production combined with M.I.A.'s rapping being above average at best holds it back. Not counting her out just yet, and will definitely check out more of her work in the future, this one just didn't cut it

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Jun 23 2026

A bit repetitive hearing basically the same song for 47 minutes straight, but at least it’s a pretty decent song.

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jun 27 2026

Maybe the greatest album of all time, of any genre.

Jun 28 2026

50 cent is such a one trick pony. But the highs on this album are too high to ignore. Some of the catchiest rap songs of all time.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jun 29 2026

Coldplay's early run is legendary. What a fall off man.

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Jun 30 2026

Sounded like overdosing on magic mushrooms

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Jul 01 2026
Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Jul 03 2026

Not thaaaat bad but it’s just a soundtrack, and an unremarkable one at that. They could’ve found better albums to showcase Indian music.

Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Jul 04 2026

Miles Davis the goat

Nowhere by Ride
Jul 05 2026

Ride is easily my least favorite of the shoegaze big three. Still a classic tho.

On The Beach by Neil Young
Jul 06 2026

This is the ticket.

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Jul 08 2026

A beautiful swan song from one of the most legendary songwriters to ever live. RIP

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Jul 13 2026
