Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 11 2026

MURICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. liked it, but I'm not american, so idk. pretty good. bruce really has a leading voice that nobody can really find, and i'm pretty sure a patriotic american teenager from the 80s would hold this album tightly close to their heart.

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Jun 12 2026

this is such a grounded album, but not to forget mentioning the subject of this album here. yeah sure, some idiot might go around, listen for a few minutes and say 'this is REAL hip-hop' without acknowledging the fact that this album was made to tackle social issues happening at those moments right now. the flows are crazy, lyrics catch me off guard and they are so relevant. timeless.

Elephant by The White Stripes

POLITIK IS SO BEAUTIFUL. one of the best albums with a banger opening track, and the vocals are hauntingly beautiful in each and every song. s/o chris martin, how is this album 15 years old?

Jun 17 2026

yeah, this is one of the albums that reminds me why dylan is THE best lyricist in the game. light years ahead, there's so much depth into what he says: "you don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows" fucking fire.

Jun 18 2026

one of my favorite queen records, not only because bohemian rhapsody is on there, but the artistry is so fulfilling and timeless that i struggle myself to catch up with it, even if i'm well aware it has an intention behind it.

Tidal by Fiona Apple

SHE WROTE A DYLAN-ESQUE RECORD AT 16. but also, i kinda knew about fiona way before i listened to this album. can't believe she sounds like that in her debut album, a masterpiece.

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
Jun 24 2026

very interesting. a contemporary piece of rock music here, i like it.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jun 25 2026

one of the greatest albums of all time, i love this album with all my heart. when i heard that the irritating distortion at the end of endless, nameless is surprisingly a broken guitar, i knew kurt cobain wasn't just taking a guitar and flinging it on the ground: he was being himself, the messy yet loving seattle grunge rock lead singer-songwriter that we all know. fav tracks are come as you are, drain you, lithium, bleed etc.

School's Out by Alice Cooper
Jun 26 2026

my art teacher told me about alice cooper one time, and definitely to check out schools out's art style, and the way he followed a specific theme. too bad i fell in love with the groove so much that i started lacking behind school for a lil bit lol

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jun 27 2026

better to watch the movie alongside the soundtrack too. curtis is definitely one of the flyest african american singers of the modern century.

Groovin' by The Young Rascals

C'est Chic by CHIC

ohhhhhhh le freak is that one song where that telma gurl from insta be doin the freaky ass dances yeah well she ruined it for me

Maverick A Strike by Finley Quaye
Jul 12 2026

so far, this whole album feels like a reggae summer, you knowww when you're overworked and you just need to find your own people to talk to while the sun takes a break, all while in jamaica (but he's scottish???) favorite song is 'even after all', just beautiful. also just to mention, i love how experimental this album feels, while staying true to its cultural roots. its like going all over while still reminding yourself who you really are.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Jul 14 2026

so dark, atmospheric and scary. love this
