1001 Albums Summary

The first song on the album started and my partner and I stop in our tracks to groove Good jams! Nice to play on a day off of work. Playing it in the living room, enjoying the music + the sound of birds outside. Very happy (:

Really good guitar solos, DAMN!! Fun listen

Vocals are beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever listened to his music before, music was really pretty. Feels ahead of its time and can see how it’s influence modern Indie

First time listening to his music. Cool orchestration, the strings are beautiful. Really amazing, unique voice. Will have to look at more of his work.

Ok Vocals!! These songs are produced in such a beautiful, meticulous way. Love love love the harmonies. I listened to the Deluxe Version, I had so much fun with the demos. “Our House” demo in particular made me so happy, I showed it to my partner right away because it reminded me of him. I feel like I haven’t listened to this music since I was a little kid. Made me feel very cozy and nostalgic <3

Her voice is absolutely incredible. I thought that formatting the story of the album around a group chat it was really cool. It was an honest take on how sexuality can be both a power and a burden. The themes were raw and vulnerable. And also did I mention her vocals were insane????? My favorite songs were Pick Up Your Feelings and Price Tags.

First time listening to her music. Her voice and lyrics are haunting. This album feels very cathartic to make. I’m curious to listen to the rest of her music and to understand her story better
