1001 Albums Summary

first time listening to neil young, and i am genuinely blown away. "after the gold rush" is an incredible album. his lyricism is like a warm blanket, they were so warm, beautiful and relatable. the harmony between the bass and drums is so good. my favourite songs from the album are : all of them but "southern man", "birds "oh, lonesome me"(which is an amazing cover song) and "i believe in you". i look forward to listening to more neil young!!

this record is really good. simple lyrics with catchy riffs. had me grooving and feeling funky. standout songs for me were "beer drinkers & hell raisers", "hot, blue and righteous" and "la grange". this record would be playing if i'm in the desert and want a tint of blues music.

this is one of my favourite records! i didn't expect to get it so soon but mo complaints from. i love carole king's voice, it's so calming and i relate to get lyrics. she makes me feel calm and comfortable. tapestry is a record i truly cherish.

my glorious queen, janis joplin. love this record so much. she makes incredible blues music. it's always a privilege to listen to her.
