Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Jun 29 2026

What a great debut album marking the genesis of this band’s discography. For being the entryway of Sabbath and the birth of metal, it does excel. Would give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Jul 02 2026

Album encapsulated the voice of generations of people who endured inhumane oppression, who gave themselves the right to fight and stand up and stick to the man. They transposed this rebel fist into the nastiest illest beats and grooves. Love it NWA.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jul 03 2026

Even this era of psych blues rock, disraeli gears is one mediocre overpraised album. Many of the songs feel written and tracked in a drunken manner. Clapton’s playing is only memorable by the repetitive wah usage. 2.5 stars

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 06 2026

Never been huge into reggae, but now I get it. Some qualities of the mix were alright when they could’ve been great, but I’m not here to bitch and moan. It was a great feel-good record!! Not my usual cup of tea, but the herbs in this teabag sure are flavorful. 3.5 stars

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jul 07 2026

I initially went into listening to this record thinking I would really like it, being a fan of The Jean Genie. To my dismay I was kinda let down by the record as a whole. The song is textbook early glamrock; psychedelic pop at its finest. But it where it sells short is some of the compositional/creative decisions where for, lack of a better word, lackluster. 3 solid stars.

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Jul 08 2026

I’ve definitely heard worse drill rap, but this record doesn’t fly too high above the others. Couldn’t be wait for it to be over not gonna lie. That’s why I’m giving it a two star.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 09 2026

This was my second Bob Marley record I’ve listened to in its entirety, and I will say I like it more than the other (Natty Dread). A lot of great feel-good songs. Marley’s melodic choices for his singing paired very well with the overall songwriting.

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Jul 10 2026

Good lighthearted mood, but lack substance for me. Definitely a casual listen.

Melodrama by Lorde
Jul 14 2026

When i listened to this record, songs Green Light and sober were decent. But all I felt was that I was listening to some sort of pre-cursor of taylor swifts whole current production value, and that left a taste in my mouth that left this record in not great standing in my mind. This record lacked the depth that it was trying to convey. Some of the production value resulted in me, skipping a few songs.

Snivilisation by Orbital
Jul 16 2026

This album didn’t do much for me. Didn’t move me much besides my hips. Not a bad record, just am usually more of fan of music that’s not edm. I’ll give it 3 bc i had fun listening

I try to give every album a chance that this site recommends. I can’t believe these are deemed covers of the original works. As for the rating, I’ll let the first 30 seconds of the album speak for that. All I will say is; drum bad.

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Jul 20 2026

What a delightful record. Can you believe it’s live??!!

Fragile by Yes
Jul 21 2026

Roundabout is the only notable song. Rest feels like filler/music-school kid jerk-off session

All Directions by The Temptations
Jul 22 2026

Fairly good, great variety of flavors.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Jul 27 2026

Pretty damn solid record. The Straits keep a consistent sound and remain in the light of the camp their sound resides in. Savory morsels these songs are
