In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jul 03 2026

Seth - remembering this album from an ex my freshman year of college, going into it I am reminded of the pretentiousness that comes with liking Radiohead. Hoping to see what the fuss is about. Logan - So far, I'm not impressed (track 2). It's not bad, but not something I feel compelled to go and download. Seth (Track 3) - Enjoying this one a bit more. The music swells to an emotional bubble that feels like slow dancing in a ballroom being filled with water. Logan (Track 3) - Like sitting on a bench with your girlfriend looking at the stars. Logan (Track 4) - Feels like zooming the camera out and seeing the entire world around you. Seth (Track 4) - I was most familiar with this track prior. Excellent stream of memories runs through this one. L (T5) - Very relaxing. Goosebumps. S (T6) - Boring, lyrics seem to not be much for me nor the music. S (T7) I often wonder why I don't enjoy Radiohead, but their music just falls flat for me. This track is honestly pretty, but it does nothing to sway me whatsoever. S (T8) lol boring as shit L (T10) A funeral song I would not play at my funeral. Seth - 3/5 Logan - 2.5/5

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Jul 06 2026

S (t1) - Good porch listening music, feels fitting for a hot July evening. L (t2) - opening montage music, feels like someone boarding a train. S (t3) - perfect fantasy vibe, the guitar sounds similar to a lute. L (t3) - trancelike. S (t5) - fun cadence, awesome song to listen to with the windows down just cruising a backroad L (t6) - the whole album shows they can harmonize, this track highlights they all can sing. Track 7 we were both literally speechless. S (t8) - just beautiful. the alliteration is crazy. harmony on the "three together" lyric is insane. S - 4.2 L - 4

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Jul 07 2026

Seth - Beats feel organic & lively albeit sometimes hard to distinguish between tracks. Early east coast vibes, yet this feels like a bridge from the hip-hop days of the early to late 80s to the next gen 90s boom bap east coast rap. I genuinely feel though this album was not made for white guys in their 30s. Logan - Whole lotta nothing, bopping my head just along to the beat. I could tell the music had a message, but the message seemed to be over my head ie infamous date rape track. It felt experimental, not in a bad way. S - 3.5/5 L - 3/5

The Clash by The Clash
Jul 08 2026

Seth - Gang vocals, chants, melodies started then dropped this album was fun, yet taxing after awhile. You can hear a lot of today's emo/alternative has definitely at least listened to this album, in some capacity. A lot of influences better utilized by those who came after, imo. Literally I do not like a single track off the second half of the album. Logan - As a whole, it felt like the group couldn't decide to make a song with a message or just a random thought. Even in songs that had something new, it was dropped quickly. Seth - 3.8/5 Logan - 2.5/5

Jul 09 2026

Seth - I was unaware Elton was more than just a pop singer/songwriter. His music blended a lot of elements: blues, classic rock, jazz and even country. Album is entirely too long with some songs going on and on for seemingly no ~good~ reason. Meh all around, amazing music but it just slogs on. Logan - Genre mixing was likable but overall it has an issue of songs sounding the same after awhile. Potentially due to the length of the album being too long. S - 3.4/5 L - 3.5/5
