A quite unknown album. The album starts fun with some summer vibes but nothing too outstanding, but it goes further downhill in the middle of the project showing a lack of consistency.
Best: N/A
Worst: Rising Above Bedlam
The first songs sound like AI music combined with k-pop lyrics.
Though many songs are catchy and fun, the project overall feels kinda generic to me. Many songs sound mostly the same, and the lyrics of this album are not that interesting to me. However, I grew a lot into the album from the middle part where most of the good and appealing stuff was. Overall, catchy and fun, but a little bland.
Best: Hysteria; Armageddon It; Run Riot; Love and Affection
Worst: Rocket
Mixed bag with some decent tracks on it. With arguably the best Stones song as intro, but also some lows that really do not impress me such as Factory Girl. Also, even though it might mostly not be a serious song and it sounds so good sonically, the lyrics of Stray Cat Blues disgust me.
Best: Sympathy for the devil; Jigsaw Puzzle
Worst: factory girl

Entertaining little instrumental soundtrack-like album. Very creepy intro, some funny but also some dark songs and some nice instrumental ballads.
Best: The Most Beautiful Girl in the World; Everything Happens To Me; The Swinging Detective; The Man With The Golden Arm
Worst: Central Control
TV On The Radio was quite an unknown band to me, as the only song I knew beforehand was Wolf Like Me. Their third studio album, "Dear Science" is a critically acclaimed album.
And I do get the appeal, especially on a sonical level.
For example, "Halfway Home" stretches long but does not get boring. "Dancing Choose" is a banger with fast-paced verses and a well-sung chorus. Great song structure.
The same goes for "Golden Age" and "Red Dress": great choruses and instrumentals. Vocal pitches are also greatly used in a wide variety through the album.
There are a flaws though, which mainly has to do with the lyrics. Some of the aforementioned songs, however strong they are sonically, suffer the same fate.
For example, "Stork & Owl" has really odd lyrics which I do not understand and the song bores me quite a bit.
"Love Dog", a slow song about one-sided loyalty or love, is another example that does not really spark my interest, apart from its clear lyrics.
"DLZ" may be one of the band's most popular songs due to Breaking Bad, and the lyrics do connect well to the series. However, the song sounds a little uninteresting compared to its popularity.
"Family Tree", is also a very clear and good song lyrically, about a couple where one of the families has a discriminatory stance towards the significant other of their child. This, together with its beautiful performance, makes it a standout song on the album.
All in all, I really enjoyed this album musically, with a few duds and vague uninterpretable lyrics.
Best: Family Tree; Golden Age; Dancing Choose; Red Dress; Halfway Home
Worst: Stork & Owl
That intro is one of the best pieces of music I've ever heard.
Rest of the album sends a positive message towards trans rights using her personal stories, among other personal themes. Beautiful ballads, but many of these songs are not my taste.
Best: Hope There's Someone; Bird Guhl

Quite a solid live performance by the Godfather of Soul!
