it's a classic I love oasis but this is not my favorite album from them tho it's always fun to listen it has some of their most popular tracks
it's not the type of music I usually listen but this is exactly what I like about this platform I never thought I'll ever listen to this album on my own despite it being this great and a really emotional experience
this woman's voice and songwriting gives me chills I just know whoever get her on the studio and recorded this knew what they were doing with their investment
Also this was her debut and till this day it is the most praised work of hers which is rare in my opinion imagine ur on ur peak of career on ur debut??? a well deserved album to be on this list
well this wasnt the first time that i listened to this album back when i wanted to discover more subgenre of rock this was my first impression of punk rock. It has skips for me but overall i liked it. Its still a mystery for me that how this became a best seller in UK some of these lyrics are really wild and got them banned but however it still they managed to dominate British punk rock with only this album which is such a shame they couldnt get it together and record another studio album.
I absolutely love johnny way of pronunciation he just use a lot of unnecessary stresses on syllables i happen to watch some live performances and oh god it was so fun to live back then and see them live
But i dont really know what happend to this band and their history i might check them out later but music wise i liked it
I absolutely love 80s new wave especially talking heads the might be one of my favorite band of all time and this album is easily on my favorite album of all time list too
Magnificent songwriting this album is like my John Lennon's imagine I'm like super into new wave and I screamed out of happiness when I saw that this is my album of the day
I love Bowie. This album tells a much bigger story in a childish perspective I give it a listen later but for now I just rate it 4/5 but maybe in the second listen it gets a perfect score who knows
I'm not genrephobic and I showed that on all of my reviews but these my bloody valentine reviews really throw me off this is by far the least experimental mbv album for those who that hate them but still there are a lot of people calling this guitar noises and the stupidest review that I've seen on here are those who that critised the vocals in shoegaze vocals are treated as an instrument. listen I don't know what you guys want from a noise pop album if you hate this you clearly hate the whole genre so this is not a 1 star album it is well deserved to be in this list
im born in a pretty young generation so I wasn't there when Cristian Aguilera was huge so I was not familiar with her music I heard few songs from her but I always thought she was some kind of pop I don't know why I just assumed okay she's a successful white singer back in 2000 so she was definitely a pop icon. I was not wrong but I started listening to this album expecting something way more different than this. I'm 2 track thinking wait I think she's doing r&b going further completely speechless by her vocal performance and then I caught myself not skipping a single track but listening to them on repeat. I'm honestly so disappointed that I wasn't familiar with her sound because of my young age she might be the best white rnb artist of our generation and I'm only saying that by listening to this single album
Brian Eno travels you to a another world I'm still in shock that this came out in 1975 so ahead of its time
THE best Cocteau Twins album oh I will always love on this album
Some argue that this is the best Pink Floyd album and some even say THE best album of all time if these doesn't convince you that this is an absolute masterpiece I honestly don't know what does
this is not the best jazz album that I've listened to I mean it's experimental music for a reason in the middle of the album I gained hope but every time a random instrument ruins it. Too experimental not for me.
I love talking heads
very futuristic, very electronic, somehow only listening to it tells a clear story. it's often chaotic and also relaxing. I gave it a chance despite being a very long album. it was a bizarre experience but somehow in a good way
well when I listen to a hiphop album the categories for rating is much different than other genres I expect smart songwriting which I see in some of these tracks like gossip folks which I think is on top 3 tracks on this album, some reversed words on work it. It has the smart songwriting. But the production? idk some say this album has some smart samples but it's so repetitive I listened to some other hiphop albums like Kendrick Lamar they did not give me this feelings it's like she carried the album with her songwriting and performance
Arguably if not the best one of the best the cure album. This album presents a dark horror feeling in the best way possible. The guitars on A Strange Day is one of the most sentimental soul tearing piece of music that I ever heard. This followed with beautifully written lyrics pointing at some harsh subjects like the first track which likely points at hundred years war or the track A Short Term Effect which clearly gives the listener a view of how drugs effects a person with an intense atmosphere that the drums create
My expectations were low and listening to it didn't change anything I mean I was excited for the jazzy vibe that Wikipedia said but it didn't feel jazz at all it was just jazz elements, ugh listening to a whole hip hop album is such a torture, no offence. repetitive beat just makes me bored I want jazz to remain melodic. Someone said they liked that the transactions were smooth? No shit the beat repeats so transactions are not much of a GREATEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME move. However I gave it a chance and found some tracks catchy but I was like uhm some of these lyrics are bullshit and kinda problematic then I remembered that's a pass in hiphop industry so I didn't even conclude it in my scoring and I said no more paying attention to the lyrics but somehow it also ended up getting low despite me being the most optimistic user in here
this was my first impression of this band, this was a fun experience to listen to it but I got to say it was not skipless for me but the production was good it didn't make me bored and also made me check other albums of this band
Genre defying, good production, Massive aAttack? Everything I need for a five star album.
not my most favorite album from massive attack but a solid 4/5
Such a cool album I enjoyed it.
I was vibing with the music suddenly mid album prince started whimpering and dirty talking on my ears then I checked if I have any tab still open but I found nothing now I feel a little violated
I'm convinced by now that every Bowie album got to be here this one is my favorite I can listen to it for multiple times and never get bored of it
I love Tracy Thorn's voice I would listen to anything this woman sings the problem with this album is strong vocalist with boring production. You start listening thinking wow such an amazing album but then it doesn't remain like that and you find yourself getting bored and the only thing that keeps you listening is the sad girl who sings on the melody
