Dummy by Portishead

Experimental spooky album, great vocals and some great songs. But didn't land enough in the middle of the album to get higher than a 3

Experimental spooky album, great vocals and some great songs. But didn't land enough in the middle of the album to get higher than a 3

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Aug 04 2026

Disco feel good bangers - Had me vibing on my way to work on a Monday morning Easy 5/5

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Aug 05 2026

Quite chilled, laid back and an easy listen. But not something that had blown me away 3.2/5

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Aug 06 2026

A few outstanding songs like Pyramid Song, but also some shite songs that I skipped. OK album

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Aug 07 2026

Excellent jazz record Introductions kill the flow. But Spotify does have their complete collection back to back without the live introductions which I'd recommend

Low by David Bowie
Aug 08 2026

Starts out with great tracks, and slowly gets more weird, but still great Not listened to much Bowie (apart from the mainstream hits) but this was a solid listen

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Aug 08 2026

Pretty meh, some of it sounded a bit like going a pub and some random da's are playing

Electric Warrior by T. Rex
Aug 10 2026

Great album that is well worth a listen ๐Ÿ‘Œ Would listen again on my own time

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Aug 11 2026

Alright album, expected to like it more

Rock 'N Soul by Solomon Burke
Aug 12 2026

Good relaxed listen - really enjoyed it. Some songs in there could be in a fallout game ๐ŸคŒ

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Aug 13 2026

Not my music taste at all so didn't get it, just seems like music for people in a dark place First album I've had to skip, and that was after 3 tunes, shite

Electric by The Cult
Aug 14 2026

Solid album, but nothing is a standout tune. Like the sound ๐Ÿ‘

Violator by Depeche Mode
Aug 15 2026

Very 80s and synthy - pretty good but just misses out on a 4 - 3.8/5

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Aug 16 2026

Soothing but average album, quite a lot of long songs which can make it a slog on some songs

Chore of Enchantment by Giant Sand
Aug 17 2026

Weird vibes but passable, then 'Temptation of Egg' comes on. What am I listening to?

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Aug 18 2026

Amazing rock album that surprised me on a first listen, easy 4.5 Would listen again

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Aug 19 2026

Layla is by far the best track on here (but it is one of the catchiest songs ever). There were some other good songs but it was mostly quite uninteresting, especially for how long it is. The album name sums it up pretty well

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Aug 20 2026

Quirky album, singing is quite mad but I didn't hate it. Some songs are repetitive and slowly work their way into being ok

Closer by Joy Division
Aug 21 2026

Really dull album, nothing exciting, expected better because of the artists reputation

Metallica by Metallica
Aug 22 2026

Good album - abit heavier rock than I normally like but enjoyed it. 2 iconic rock songs on this album so it's a 4/5
