1001 Albums Summary

Lovely guitar melodies paired with soft vocals and sublime orchestration create a very pleasant time. Unfortunately i couldn't personally resonate that much with the lyrics, which is a shame for a singer-songwriter record... Still an incredibly lovely album, I especially love when it gets jazzier like on the track Poor Boy and the instrumentals.

The intersection between Punk Rock rebellion and Bubblegum Pop sweetness create a somehow really straight forward result. In retrospect it makes a lot of sense that fast and sloppy power chords pair well with catchy and easy to sing melodies.

Great pop songs, although the production can sound extremely artificial in certain tracks (especially the first two tracks).

There’s a kind of strange beauty to be found in the fact that we are, no matter who or how you are, heading into the same destiny no matter what. I hope there’s at least some good music on the other side.
