1001 Albums Summary

It is kind of a regular 80’s pop, but given it was released before the 80’s and still has a distinct sound it is pretty ipressive

This walked so Cocteau twins could run. But this also has some bangers

I like jazz a lot and I don’t think I’ll ever understand it

Steely Dan for A Mario kart soundtrack. Didn’t feel very special… the album cover is sick though

I like that the album knows what it is and sticks to it. Overall I enjoyed feeling the atmosphere of the album, though I always feel that nico doesn’t try or expirement enough with her voice especially for such a low-key album that really focuses on the vocals… Minus points for the avant garde aspects

Pretty good. Ahead of it’s time in a few ways

Very solid group of songs

The instrumentals feel very inspiring yet innovative. I love how she dips into so many genres while having a cohesive sound for the album. Favorite songs: broken man, flea, violent times, all born screaming. And the guitar on so many planets

It is beautifull at times, though some songs linger on for far too long. Madame George is a prime example
