To be honest, I don't really listen to this genre. I don't generally enjoy "positive" energy in music. I go to music for more complexity, more lyrical depth and I usually enjoy experimental music. For it's time, I think it was experimental. I enjoy some electric guitar hooks on what is otherwise a more groovy, jazzy sound. Just not something that I find intellectually curious.
