The Wow! Signal is the tenth studio album by the English rock band Muse, released on 26 June 2026 through Warner Records and Helium-3. It was produced by Muse, Dan Lancaster and Aleks von Korff. The bandleader, Matt Bellamy, said Lancaster pushed Muse to create a more modern sound. The lyrics explore themes of cosmic mystery, influenced by Bellamy's split from the model Elle Evans. "Hush" features the singer Ellie Goulding. "Unravelling", "Be with You", "Cryogen", "Hexagons", and "Nightshift Superstar" were released as singles ahead of the album's release. The Wow! Signal received generally favourable reviews from critics and fared well commercially, becoming the band's eighth consecutive UK number 1 album. A North American tour in support of the album began in July 2026, with a European arena tour to begin in November.

Wow! This is shit.
As always with Muse. Not bad 4
Oof this was bad. It sounds so god damn cheesy and just so AI-sounding. I know it's not, but it sounds like an AI made it. It's so over produced and sounds fake. The album cover is also so terrible. We definitely don't need to be listening to a new Muse album in 2026. My personal rating: 2/5 My rating relative to the list: 2/5 Should this have been included on the original list? No.
Muse is pretty consistent. This one sounds just like the rest, it's good, but probably a bit too new to be putting on this list. Just my opinion, but this should be a list of true classics that have proven themselves over time, not a new release that is HOT when it comes out.
I’ve not really paid much attention to Muse since Black Holes and Revelations. This album has confirmed that decision.
Typical Muse sound, but still pretty good.
Okay, pre listen, I'm going to have to say it... The thought of a new Muse album since Absolution does not exactly fill me with anticipation or excitement... Well it lived down to my expectations. Pompous and overblown where they used to balance the pomp with pop so well. Is it terrible? No, there are moments, but you can't help but feel they are enjoying themselves far more than the listener.
I'd say this is pretty alright. 3 stars.
