Like A Prayer
MadonnaI knew 3 songs off this album. Thought I might find some hidden gems. Nope! 3 great songs and the rest were complete duds.

Very twangy but classic rock. Recognized “Teach your Children” from The Office - Take Your Daughter to Work Day.
Not new to Elliott Smith. Doesn’t have the same impact on me today as I’m not an angsty emo teenager anymore. He’s still an amazing musician that died before his time, but not really my jam any longer.
Mother fucking Bowie! I’d heard the hits off this album before, but even the songs I hadn’t heard were amazing. Listening to this album I felt like I’d been born in the wrong musical era.
Didn’t care for this album. Sounded like creepy children nurseries set to British rock.
I’d heard a few Air songs before, so I knew what I was in store for. Very synthy. Not really catchy, but enjoyable nonetheless.
Yet another titan id heard of but not sure I’d ever heard. Her lyrics are so beautiful and descriptive. This album is so all encompassingly passionate.

Inoffensive, bluesy rock. Didn’t realize “Everybody's Talkin” was written by Fred Neil and not Harry Nilsson.
Very good album. It had known hits and was rounded out with other catchy songs. Good time all around.
Such a famous album. I totally see the appeal, it’s just not my style. The songs are catchy, but at the same time don’t stick with me, if that makes any sense.
Beastie Boys have such a unique sound. Great beats, great lyrics, catchy songs altogether.
Giving me “Enchantment Under the Sea” vibes. Lots of old-timey love songs. Catchy but not great.
Listened to about half the album. Didn’t want to finish. Not really into New Wave. Their “hit” song off this album just didn’t do anything for me.
A lot of missing songs on Spotify, so I couldn’t listen to it all. I liked it though.
Don’t remember much of this album. Not because it was bad, but because I fell asleep listening to it on the bus. I think it was pretty great actually.
