Arthur (Or the Decline and Fall of the British Empire)
The KinksThis is glorious. Biting social commentary with uplifting tunes.

I'm too old for this, and so are they. Singles are fine, but the rest is filler. Teen punk rock for people who think the Matrix is 'deep'.
Enjoyed it but too miserable for me in general.
Ooooh so cheesy.
Whiney poor man's Bob Dylan. But okay.
I really liked this album, though I think Blood on the Tracks is probably better overall.
Rather smooth and forgettable. Was expecting it to be much heavier, but it's elevator rock.

I liked this. It was interesting, a bit rocky but not too much. Kind of like a rockier Regina Spector.
Only 2 'songs'! I liked it, though I'm not sure I understand it all...
Urgh. Lazy and loud.
Not as bad as I was expecting - more upbeat.
This album reminds me of driving through the Oxfordshire countryside. Class.
I had forgotten that I quite like this album. Lots of twiddly guitars and smooth voices.

I liked it, quite like Lloyd Cole but rockier. Except for the Goldfinger cover. Shudder.
Chilled and interesting. I will listen to this again.
In some ways quite Bowie-esque, and the singles are classics. But the backing singing is a bit weird, and some of the lyrics are a bit inane. It's ok.
Coffee bar music. Nice and inoffensive.
Slick band, but titles and themes haven't aged well
Ooooh so cheesy.
Enjoyed it but wouldn't listen again
