First time listening: 10/10 songs liked I rarely save live songs, so this won't add to my gigantic list, HOWEVER. I will save this album as a consideration to listen to constantly, because it's a beautiful treat to behold. The raw energy of sam cooke and the crowd play together so well. No songs saved
First time listening: 12/12 songs liked Yooooooo. That's a groove. This is basically a more refined Perez Prado, with more grooves and more melody. I am all for big band, and definitely all for mambo. 4 songs saved
First time listening: 6/12 songs liked Elvis Costello made me like british new wave. That is quite hard to do. Some songs are a little odd for my tastes perhaps they reference culture I am not familiar with. But all in all, solid. 5 songs saved
First time listening: 4/9 tracks liked While the first few tracks were bangin', nothing noteworthy to add to my library. Can appreciate its significance of changing the landscape of 70' soul. No songs saved.
First time listening: 9/11 songs liked Ageless hard rock album. The unorthodox playing of Jimi and Mitch sound refreshing for being in the late 60's. Already heard many of the classics, but not all at once in one album. Solid listen. Songs saved: 6
First Time Listening: 10/11 songs liked Punk usually isn't in my knowledge of music, this was a great album through and through EXCEPT that lost song....lol that ending was "okay..." Nothing noteworthy to hear as stand-alones. No songs saved
First time listening: 17/17 songs liked Yep. This album was lit. I didn't know that most of my elton discography came from this album alone! That intro song is insanely long but felt so cohesive and short. I think his melody writing with the poppy piano rhythm hits my heartstrings. 5 songs added.
First time listening: 2/9 songs liked I couldn't get through this without sleeping...but I know the draw for Joy Division and the context behind their music, so perhaps I'm not the right demographic. No songs saved
First time listening: 9/12 songs liked It's like listening to a soft beatles album with extremely glutteral voices, which is odd considering they are mainly known for their disco. I know and like their first track, so I knew what I was getting myself into. Can be bitch if you are tired. No songs saved
First time listening: 2/14 songs liked For an album named after the pneumatic device for note naming, they really don't keep to their conventions. Super atonality on a wide variety of tracks, and extremely slow grunge. My god, not my thing. No songs saved.
First time listening: 11/13 songs liked Damn....this album goes HARD. Not a lot of their more melodic works I'm used to, but it makes for a great listen. One song saved
First time listening: 4/11 songs liked You can definitely hear the David Bowie influence in here. The singing seems slightly grading to my ears, but the first few tracks were very great! 2 songs saved

First time listening: 7/8 albums liked. Solid rock album. I love songs exceeding 4 minutes to be honest, but ironically the 8 minute one was kind of odd to my tastes. Other than that, very tame music for metal, but great nonetheless! One song saved
First time listening: 12/12 songs liked Yooooooo. That's a groove. This is basically a more refined Perez Prado, with more grooves and more melody. I am all for big band, and definitely all for mambo. 4 songs saved
First time listening: 4/16 songs liked. Eh. Old folk music is my thing, but modern folk singers tend to inflect a weird tone in their singing voice that doesn't vibe with me. Mumford and sons, while I like them a lot, have that voice too. No songs saved
First time listening: 8/11 sings liked Very conscious album. It's no wonder Common is a "common" name in hip hop, pun intended. While I do like them for their lyrical content, I'm a beat lover first. Some of these bits can feel stale real fast. Not the best of Kanye production FOR SURE. 4 songs saved
First time listening: 6/12 songs liked Elvis Costello made me like british new wave. That is quite hard to do. Some songs are a little odd for my tastes perhaps they reference culture I am not familiar with. But all in all, solid. 5 songs saved
First time listening: 5/10 songs liked It was pretty good, some of the blues-ey songs are more my speed, but sometimes the theatrics of mike jagger throw me off. That one song "stray cat blues" would NOT be released today, let me tell you lol One song saved
First time listening: 9/9 songs like Oh yeah, this is such a relaxing album all the way through. I have a thing for simple, genuine, music writing, and this is definitely it. Definitely should have gotten more steam with all the folk greats
First time listening: 8/12 songs liked I much prefer anything upbeat by Mariah Carey: the airy tone she provides becomes TOO airy the slower the song is. Not that disliked the songs on this album, I just like her fast-paced songs more. That said, r&b classic. 2 songs saved
First time listening: 5/14 songs liked Industrial music hurts my head, but I understand the implications of this concept album. quite disturbing to say the least. One song saved
First Time listening: 8/10 songs liked While I personally prefer more ska rooted and and more melodic reggae (the name leaves me at the moment) this is an overall enjoyable album! No songs saved
First time listening: 9/9 songs liked Damn that drummer, holy shit. It gives all those blue standards and originals so much more flavor and grit. Robert plant has the right theatrics to his voice that doesn't take me away too. Wonderful! 3 songs saved
Not my first time: 7/14 sings liked You can't shake the wonder of if they knew music theory and had their ears enjoy such things as modular scales and key ambiguity, or if they were just idiots that can hear music well. Such is the case, this album is extremely mature for them, and after years of listening to it for the first time, glad to know my taste stayed the same LOL. 7 songs saved
First time listening: 16/20 songs liked I slept on them. I generally know their top songs which to me sound very grading because of their voices (beat first is what I judge) but wow. Their instrumentals and sounds on this album are super experimental. I will definitely give them another chance. 3 songs saved
First time listening: 8/10 songs liked Unlike her 2020 album (while lauded, I personally found noisy and annoying) this one is the right amount of tasteful experimentation. Very soft alternative rock, and I'm always a sucker for piano. 3 songs saved
First time listening: 9/11 songs liked It's like a modern version of The Doors, in the best way! Some songs feel very ska like too, that may just be a bias of mine for being in a ska band. Enjoyable! 2 songs saves
I mean...it's a long-winded prog-rock album. I don't really understand it, because for "space sounding" it just sounds...like a LOT of progressive rock. and it's wayyyy too long.
First time listening: 12/16 songs liked It's quite underrated for sure, as most definitive hip-hop albums are rooted amongst African-Americans. This stamps "Latino" all over the album. Wacky, ear-tickling samples, with the weird voicing of B-real, make for a classic album. 3 songs saved.
First time listening: 10/13 songs liked I don't know what it is, but I freaking love Bob Dylan. lyrics aside, which elevates his songs to another level, his form for simple folk melody and guitar picking is intimate and relatable. Some out-of-tune strings on some songs, but I'm just being picky. 5 songs saved
First time listening: 3/9 songs liked Eh. I don't think glam rock sits with me well. The Theatrics are cool and all, but not something I would listen to on Sunday mornings out of the blue. Very interesting musical ideas from each song though. No song saved
First time listening 7/10 Everyone knows the big hits. The others are okay glam metal. Less theatrics and more guitar and singing, which I'm totally okay with. "Never Say Goodbye" is REALLY good and underrated compared to the bigger songs. 3 songs saved
First time listening: 4/4 songs liked Now, this album is a jazz trip for sure. Didn't ideas melding together in its cohesive titles and movements, this one is way more efficient in its use of length despite its only 4 song repertoire. Wouldn't save any songs, but it's definitely worth a listen. No songs saved
First time listening: 8/11 songs liked lolllll that last song, so random compared to the rest. Well, it's a solid blues album, you see the beginnings of Eric Clapton becoming to himself through these songs. The blues aren't too much of my taste, but it gets the job done. One song saved
Not first time listening: 16/16 songs liked Who hurt you Frank? This is second to "Song For Swingin Dancers" but it's a very close second. Such sadness and loneliness that I can relate to. Also bias love to Frank Sinatra. 2 songs saved
First time listening: 3/11 songs liked I kind of assumed like their first album, they'd be a little more bluesy? Their hard rock is EXTREMELY mundane and repetitive. I'm sure there's a time and place for it somewhere in the heart of texas, but not for me sir. 1 songs saved
