Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs
Derek & The DominosLayla song is a straight ten out of ten. The complexity of these songs is great and I find it brings me happiness listening to this

Meh not bad not good. Just a bland soft electronic album. Not for me.
The review for electric light orchestra is actually for this. I also give electric light orchestra 3 stars. I liked it but alot of tracks sounded the same.
This is a fantastic album lots of unique songs, various tempos from up beat to sad and romantic. Lyrics are fun and also serious. I like this album alot
Very cool psychedelic album. I enjoy it, its got some nice songs. Not amazing but would listen to again. I certainly appreciate it for what it is.
Good pop songs, I liked the variety in the songs. The production value is really good, with harmonic voices and instruments. It's a good album that I'd listen to again
Meh, it provided nothing memorable or particularly enjoyable. it serves as good background music perhaps. But for active listening I was left wanting more.
Good, fun and enjoyable listening. I like this album and has introduced me to a decent band from the 60s. I like the vocals particularly.
In a Gadda da Vida has got the title track, which is a 17 min epic. Really hits hard, great riffs and just and awesome bass and organ underlay. Big big fan of this track. The rest of the album is just like the doors which is not a bad thing. But final track is just epic.
It's alright, I enjoy a good couple of the songs and the over sad vibe of the album. If love would tear us apart was on this it would make it a 4 out of 5.
It's ok, I like what it's going for from a sci fi perspective and telling a story. Nothing memorable to me however.
I really like this album, great songs. Good variety but the theme is great. The steam train song is my favourite on the album
Great hits and bangers individually but listening to a whole album is hard for me. I love the songs tho, I would realistically give this a 3.5 but on this scale it will have to be a 3
Layla song is a straight ten out of ten. The complexity of these songs is great and I find it brings me happiness listening to this
Good album but I feel it's a bit to long. How ever it's got some rockers on it and who can dispute the stones!
Susan's house was a great song. I enjoyed the album. I thought there was good emotion in the lyrics and also the composition felt complex. Nice to my ears
She has a nice voice that I like the sound off. It's a good mix of Ballards and pop songs. Enjoyable listen.
Not much redeeming about this album it's rather boring to listen to. I find the mixing a bit off with the guitar tracks and vocals. Lyrics didn't grab me much. Might just be my taste and it's not so bad I couldn't finish it which is why it's not one star.
Really good musicanship from David Gray. I like the acoustic vibe of the music. Babylon is a fantastic song
Peaches!!! Say no more. I didn't know this was the band so I'm so glad to be introduced. I really enjoy this album. It has a good punky vibe but it's the organ in the tracks that does it for me.
This album is everything about being calm. Really relaxing listen and very enjoyable to have on in the background!
My favourite album of all time. The songs are composed perfectly with amazing samples and great production from Kanye. The features are great. The range and variety of the songs from absolute bangers to more emotional ones. And runaway with the piano section is just the best!!!!
Is this the cure ?! I like the album, not anything spectacular and compositionally I find it a bit bland with the same sort of riffs and instruments on each song. But its enjoyable.
This is very bland in its composition. A long album of all the same song really.
One good song. The rest was meandering forgetful average rock songs.
Spooky vibe to it. I like the tone and the style. A mix up of good and soft vocals and electronica. Interesting and certainly unique or at least for that time.
Old school beetles when they were at their most 'pop'. Really like the theme of love and romance and the Ballards mixed with the really dancy pop songs. Good album.
This is a good mix of rock and some electronic music on some of the tracks. It's a long album but I like it. I had never heard the band before so extra credit for the introduction.
Some good heavy rock songs. I didn't get through the whole album. But its enjoyable.
Is the Arctic monkeys before the Arctic monkeys?! A bit more gentle in their rock approach. I like the vibe of the songs how ever I find there is a sound mixing issue and distinguishing the lyrics on some tracks is a little difficult. Good overall mix of songs and variety of tempos. Overall a good listen.
Never listened to this before and really enjoyed the mixture of instruments and the variety of tracks. Really well done and very good to listen to in all moods
The adverts are brilliantly British! Lots of fun listening to this album. Some good hits on here too and I really like the who already! Wasn't aware of this album so it's even more a delight to discover.
I like this old school hip hop vibe. And q tip is a great feature artist. It's good lyrics and great flow. I like the tone of his voice too.
Could not access the full album anywhere but the one song I could find was a banger! Will rate it average
What a lovely chill albums. Who knows what they are singing about but it puts my hairs on end! Love it.
Really nice album. Good lyrics and enjoyable acoustic vibe. Liked the introduction to the band too.
Strange skits in this one. Songs are good though and really good 60s throw back.
What a bop! Great vocals interlaced on top of each other. The production is fantastic on this and Lauryn hill has a great voice! This is a fun and good album.
David watts and Billy hunt, two interesting songs! Good punk album too
Not much gained out of this. Seems like a fair bit of noise.
