James Brown Live At The Apollo
James BrownDynamic, high energy R&B/Soul performance
Dynamic, high energy R&B/Soul performance
Starts off strong, then kinda sputters out. I like the guitar tone and catchy vocal callbacks. Solid album overall for it's time, but probably don't care to listen again.
Fun and quirky. But not many songs stand out to me. Hard to feel the impact of an album so before my time.
Probably over my head, but a good listen.
Weird experimental rock album. Some catchy songs though.
Great full album. Sucks you into a while new world.
Absolute metal masterpiece, and perhaps Metallica's best album.
Quirky rock album. Sounds like indie prog from the 70s
Meh. Sounds like a typical 60s Beatles ripoff. The title track was good and that's about it.
Ambitious experimental rock project. Almost good, but comes up short.
Trash
Reminds me of Alice Cooper
Dynamic, high energy R&B/Soul performance
Nice songwriting, decent performance. Fun never knowing when a tempo change will hit.
Couple bangers, couple decent songs. Rest is trash.
Not bad, but didn't really care for it at all.
Cracked Actor was a cool song, didn't really enjoy the rest of the album. It's weird, but not in a good way.
Background music. Not very memorable
Listening to this album is like babysitting someone through the stages of a shroom/LSD trip, which is not something I care to do.
Not good
This is a joke, right?
To me, this is a cheap imitation of Paul McCartney
Decent rock project. Classic classic rock.
Not good
Jazzy...not in the mood though
Meh
Legendary. Would've given a 5/5 if sir Elton trimmed the album a little shorter.
Solid rock album
Defining rock of the 90's with some crap in between
Decent rock album
Spacey and beautiful
The problem with prog rock songs is, they tend to all be half good half bad.
I just don't get the hype...
Only the radio songs were good
Not my cup of tea
Not bad
Nice beats, repetitive flows
Never really liked Iron Maiden
The hits bring the score up to a 3/5
Weird album but I kinda liked the jams
Garbage doors ripoff
Not a fan
Front half is loaded with the classics, back half is a bunch of guitar driven groovy jams
Classic boomer music
DRINK MY WINE 🍷
Classic rock sounding, but still creative and modern
Solid rock album with a couple bangers
